Random theorizing ahead...
I'm finding it really interesting how they're setting it up that so far Big Jane's primary tool of manipulation seems to be exploiting his knowledge of people's poor choices... To be clear, no one deserves being abused for cheating and stealing, that's still fucked up, but the way Jui had this deeply dysfunctional relationship, and Tee had legitimately committed crimes and had zero guilt for it...
It makes me wonder if part of Big Jane's MO is seeing himself as a punisher of those who transgress. That he sees people who come to him for help in the first place as people who are already morally corrupt, so he feels no guilt for turning on them, and is also one of the reasons he was pleased Little Jane turned him down so quickly - someone of actual moral purity coming into his circle, something that he couldn't resist as someone living such a dark existence.
He turned down Put, which could have been entirely about Put's crush on Little Jane, but what if also Put genuinely holds no interest for him as someone who wanted to make a blood contract for noble purposes?
I expect he is going to have something to do with Jet's sudden troubles - though again, likely not initiating the problem, but exploiting something Jet has already been doing.
As Little Jane is pulled back into his sway, it's going to be very interesting to see how their relationship goes - Big Jane is going to be working on pulling LJ down into his murky moral existence, as he forces him into the blood contract in order not to lose him. But we've been seeing that LJ has some backbone; will LJ also have a counter effect on BJ, and lighten his world, both literally and figuratively?
