i think its mainly because they've reduced the whole nontraumagenic argument to discourse and obviously, all kinds of discourse is pointless and stupid /sarc so they have a very surface level understanding as to why people are anti endo and reduce it to "angry sysmeds trying to gatekeep" or whatever they're calling it these days.

like sure, discourse is annoying and i think in some discussions having no opinion is understandable especially if its a case where both sides reject nuance. but like i said it depends entirely on the argument, i wouldn't say i'm well versed in syscourse because i've always tried to stick to support groups after that stuff with my exfriends, so take everything i say with a grain of salt and feel free to correct me if i'm wrong!

a statement i've seen endo-neutrals in particular make is that theyre too focused on managing their disorder than to care about discourse. okay, me too, i agree on that, just because we have the disorder doesn't mean we can know every single thing about it unless we're actively researching, so from an outside perspective i see where that comes from. However, if you search up DID/OSDD the most basic definition you'll get is that they're dissociative disorders caused by *childhood trauma*, or it's paraphrased differently but still means the same thing

So.... I don't really understand being neutral because of that? There's no other conclusion you can get from this other than that the concept of nontraumagenics is thinly veiled ableism. i have never participated in syscourse either but i still call myself anti endo lol even though that should fall under being anti ableist as a whole.

i recently lurked through the pro endo tags and i really wanted to understand where they come from but i lost all patience the moment they said that "traumagenics love to complain about having no space for themselves"

like.... "traumagenics", the way it's used sounds so dehumanizing for no reason first of all. and when i saw that it reminded me so much of the fact that trauma survivors & disabled people will NEVER be taken seriously, even those who aren't pwCDDs. we are only tolerated to an Extent and that's the problem, they think they're being supportive by invading our spaces & making misinformed calls but they aren't. We are not "traumascum" or "fascists" for wanting a space to ourselves. It's frustrating to see others who have never lived like us try to imitate us and act like that makes them suddenly so progressive. And looping back to the topic of pro/neu pwCDDs, the obvious is that they're uninformed but i also truly hope they stop tolerating those kinds of people. we face a lot of stigma as it is, but i guess "that's fine" as long as nontraumagenics can continue to use disordered terms, right?

I had no idea doing a deep dive on a researcher—who has done horrible things to his clients—was suddenly attacking him.. like hey, sorry for criticizing your big colin daddy, but he's still a horrible person despite his hard work.

No one is.. attacking him for being pro-endo. I haven't seen anything on people attacking him for being pro-endo. I'm merely working on information about Colin, his beliefs, his allegations, and so forth. I'm approaching it from a neutral point of view because who am I to approach everything from my side?

"What he has done for trauma survivors.." Ah yes, pushing them to kill themselves. He's done a lot.

Anyways, I'm not sharing who this is and I'll delete any related comment on who people think it is. I don't stand for harassment really.

You are saying that you want to run a hate campaign against trauma survivors. That you want people to be hateful and aggressive to trauma survivors.

You think it’s justified to be told to commit suicide just because we have a different opinion than you do? Trauma survivors are highly likely to be suicidal. This can and will cost someone their life. You are directly contributing to suicide rates by saying this, and I hope you know that and feel the full weight of this every day.

Hate, harassment and death threats are never okay. Not towards anti endos, not towards endos and pro endos, not towards radqueers, nobody.
