now i’m sure he has some great qualities and obviously we don’t know him personally so there’s nuance, but with this forever talk so soon…all im saying is if this was my friend talking about her new guy…i would tell her to watch her birth control and let her know im available any time she needs.

you are young!! please fill your cup with your friends, studies, and life first. romance should be like the garnish at this age, a little nice to have. and never be afraid to set your standards high or to walk away from something that feels wrong or something you’re not ready for. but always communicate that, don’t ghost because you’re grown. if you try and he flies off, block delete bye. you’ll never get anywhere with a man you can’t communicate about your issues calmly and constructively with.

also note, this opinion comes from a veteran who, as the years have gone on, is less enchanted with the dating scene than i used to be and generally has a very high standard when it comes to men
