but there is something really upsetting about being told "Don't Worry! YOU are gonna be okay because YOU are good at what you do and EVENTUALLY something will happen!" and I don't mean to be a negative nelly and wallow in my misery but i just wish someone was more realistic with me. i'm tired of being told that it's gonna happen because well i just worked so hard! Lots of people do. Actually there are about a hundred people better at what i do and who have worked three times harder, and they don't have jobs. they actually have been job hunting for 3 months. 6 months. a year. and they're working retail jobs and customer service and food and Just like me they wasted their time on a degree that won't get me anywhere. Maybe under a different administration, if we see one, maybe you can look at the job market then. but until then, have fun at a job that makes you wanna kill yourself everyday you go to it.
