So I suggest we make a pact, since we're both in it for the long haul: whoever dies first, the other one can come and bring flowers to their grave. How's that?

Namrasit’s notebook
Sagarmatha Minor lore, in text:
Sagarmatha minor was a static mountain deity Annexed in 1890768 from the Duksa- Jumma people from the southern copper forests.
As a static deity, they were included in land treaties between the colonizing forces of Don Perdita and the natives of Duksa Jumma, without the deity's concurrence. Several paper mills were built upon Sagartha's knolls and sparse native forests, leading to soil erosion and invasive species.
They say a forest only goes quiet when something is amiss. Sagartha's paper forests are perpetually silent.
Sagarmatha was in considerable pain, their uterus seasonally embedded with the embryo extracted from forest gods to create "instant woodland" suitable for lumber harvest (and other hardwoods for the paper mill). Their uterus is (at present) totally destroyed.
Often misconceptualized as a mother "goddess" due to the duke's misunderstanding of the duksa-jumma.
They are better understood as inherently sexless and of a gender outside of established colonizing religion.
Sagarmatha's name is from Mount Everest's indigenous, Nepali name (Sagarmatha). Their story is partly inspired from the Finnish-owned, millions of hectares of paper mills in the forests of Uruguay...... planting non-native Eucalyptus trees in perfect rows, showing up aerially in the shape of thumprints, where when you enter, no scurry of forest mice nor song of any bird can be heard..
There ia aso the treatment of Mount Everest by white mountaineers- where she is home to the "Goddess of Inexhaustible Giving" to the people who know her, to others, the mountain is just another conquest to those who don't particularly care about her cultural significance
this holy ground is not your place to die on..
I’m looking for a passage that used to be relatively popular on tumblr, I vaguely remember that it was from one of the Big British Marxist theorists, I think it might have been Hobsbawm?—where the example he gives of the context sensitive nature of identifiication is a South Asian man in Britain (it goes something like might in one context identify primarily as British, in another primarily as with his mother country, in another with his caste, in another with his religion, in another with his specific region, etc etc) if anyone knows / remembers kindly let me know tumblr’s search functiom exists purely to torture me even when i’m accessing it properly i’ve been looking for long
A third observation brings me closer to the main theme of this lecture. The concept of a single, exclusive, and unchanging ethnic or cultural or other identity is a dangerous piece of brainwashing. Human mental identities are not like shoes, of which we can only wear one pair at a time. We are all multi-dimensional beings. Whether a Mr. Patel in London will think of himself primarily as an Indian, a British citizen, a Hindu, a Gujarati-speaker, an ex-colonist from Kenya, a member of a specific caste or kin-group, or in some other capacity depends on whether he faces an immigration officer, a Pakistani, a Sikh or Moslem, a Bengali-speaker, and so on. There is no single platonic essence of Patel He is all these and more at the same time. David Selbourne, a London ideologue, calls on "the Jew in England" to "cease to pretend to be English" and to recognize that his "real" identity is as a Jew. The only people who face us with such either-or choices are those whose policies have led or could lead to genocide.
Eric Hobsbawm, "Language, Culture, and National Identity," Social Research 63, no. 4 (Winter 1996), p. 1067 [pdf link]
