"Oh it's nothing serious.." He attemped to reasure his friend, smiling even a little. "I was just thinking about the future..myself. I don't know what will happen."

The purple-haired male gathered his cards and beamed as he held the pile to his chin in thought. "And that is what makes it so exciting; Edo. I can accurately predict events but I find it thrilling if I'm wrong as well."

"You shouldn't worry so much," Saiou said as he put his cards away. He got up from his chair and moved over to make some tea for them both. "One can't focus on what the future brings as it often breeds paranoia. Also, you'll miss everything in the present." he chuckled. "Plus time is a weird soup."

"Right...I should focus on the here and now then?" He shifts watching his dear friend. "A weird soup...Alright. I trust you and your words i'll try not to focus the what if's..future."

" You can't just throw random cards together and call yourself a duelist, stupid."

"Yes i can, and did..also nearly beat Judai with that random cards."

There was a twitch of his eyebrow. His very elaborate eyebrow. "I don't know if I should laugh or be offended by that fact."

"Both?" He smiled. "I mean i had to let him win after all but i could have beaten him..But then i had rematch and beat him so there that."

"Sure." Paradox replied, totally believing him. Totally. "Where is the shrimp head anyway?"

"Not sure actually..Haven't seen him for awhile." He shrugged. "Who i like to annoy isnt here either..hm."

"And what am I? You're sloppy seconds?" paradox asked. Why did people of this era annoy him to most? Why was he even here?

"Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude." Another grin and a shrug. "I just miss someone...that's all, annyway what was your name?"
