Café Kisses
Cater Diamond x Male OC
~~~~
It was finally the weekend! Cater arrived at the center of town to wait for his favorite person. The red haired male was surprised to have been the first to arrive. Usually the other was early, but today Cater was the early one for once.
“Oh I am totes gonna tease him for this.” Cater snickered to himself as he pulled his phone out to take a selfie.
His ears picked up a sudden camera shutter to his left. A head of purple cornrows peaked out from over top the camera.
“The light was hitting you perfectly form this angle I just couldn’t help myself.” The male said as he lowered the camera and stood up straight.
The smile Cater had only grew larger. “You can just call me cute ya know~” he said happily. “Now come here and be cute with me!” The red haired male wrapped his arm around the other’s shoulders for the selfie. “Awww come on, Thay, show me that smile~”
Thaymin rolled his eyes playfully before sticking his tongue out and making a heart with his fingers.
“Did you get new eyeshadow? It looks darker than usual.” Cater asked as he looked happily at the picture.
“Don’t act like you’re not the one who picked it out for me last time.” Thaymin smiled slightly seeing his boyfriend’s toothy grin.
“Hey I had to do something to help ya out! You just look SO uncomfy in that RSA uniform!”
“Ugh,” Thay groaned. “I STILL wish I got into NRC with you. Your uniform looks way better than that bright white eye sore.”
Cater couldn’t help but to laugh. “I don’t know. I think you’re little gothic souls could use some brightening up~”
“The only brightness I need in my life is you, sunshine.” Thaymin winked as Cater’s blushed face smiled broadly. “Now come on,” he started as he linked his fingers with Cater’s, “Heard a new little place opened up around the corner.”
The pair walked hand in hand, Cater gently swinging their hands, a few blocks down to an elegant looking café called Cottentail. Inside was mostly white with pops of light blues and gold along the decor, and the menu was written along a large round chalkboard in a curly, cursive script.
After ordering their drinks, a tiger milk tea boba and a chai tea latte, they sat at one of the tables near the windows. Each of them took turns in taking each other’s pictures with their drinks as they talked; Cater sharing what’s been going on at school and the interesting little froshes, and Thaymin complaining about his own life at RSA.
“At least I’m close to the ocean down there,” the purple haired man added. “The sunsets are always worth seeing.”
“Bet they’d be even better with me~” Cater curled a strand of his hair around his finger.
Thaymin playfully nudged him. “Of course it would. Just a shame curfew has to be a thing and you have to go all the way back up to the superior school.”
Cater stuck his tongue out before laughing. “We should just trade uniforms one of these days. I know I’d look totes adorbs in yours.”
“You look good in everything, but considering you’re still taller than me I don’t think you could fit into mine.” Thay chuckled. “Plus I’m sure your house warden would loose his head.”
“Mm!” Cater’s eyes sparkled as he took another sip. “I’d lose MY head for it!”
“Ah that’s right. I’m the only one who can collar you.”
Cater instantly flushed in embarrassment. “I— w-wait wha— mmf!”
Thaymin smirked as he pulled away from the kiss he’d given and licked his lips. “Not yet at least. Maybe eventually. Think I’ll try your drink next time. You make it taste divine.”
