Work related or social life? It was one in the same, in it being a sham. An act that was sometimes all too real, that blurred the lines of who he really was. 

“Must I always spell everything out?” In a rare instance, his tight control over his emotions slipped, coming out as a wayward barb. Perhaps it was the headache pounding against his temple that sparked it, or the mounting pressure getting under his skin. Or maybe it was just a mix of every problem and demand that always seemed to flood his work life in abundance. Whatever it was, his ire was trained directly onto Dr. Lector. Every answer was met with another question, could he not be understood? Was he that unreachable?  

If he could not sympathize with others, then logically speaking, it would be the same vice versa. It was refreshing, it should be was nothing but freeing. In the long run, he didn’t need anyone else. Then why did he sometimes wish- Those sorts of ideas were unbecoming after all, it was what dragged down the frail in the end. And such doubts would be purged from his mind as his arms crossed over his chest, head tilting back. 

❝ Is it like a game to you, then ? ❞ Of course he wanted Wesker to be better after his therapy, be a SUCCESS STORY they both know he can be. Continue his job, socialize and come to know himself more than he ever did before. ❝ Do you dehumanize the murderers you are sent to catch ? You catch them because you gain pleasure from it, by being in the role of power to do so with little to stop you ? ❞

It must be LONELY there, every patient is unique but Wesker was more so in considering his employment, skill set and intelligence.

Are you dehumanized, Wesker ? Do you even enjoy humanity ? From what he has learned about him so far, the answer was still forming within his own mind. Being BETTER does not equal THE BEST even if that was the desired outcome. Dissecting his questions, open heart SURGERY on the topic to disguise it as something totally different.

Will on the other hand, hunts the same way he fishes. He never attacks. He always lures people right into his arms. He lured Hannibal. He lured Freddie into his shed to make her part of the plan. He lured Chilton into getting himself fried. He lured Chiyoh into killing the prisoner.

The last thing he would do in this situation was call the authorities, the DEED had been done already, was a simple fact and he would keep that down, deeply, possibly as deep as a well. This was no reason to call on anyone. Even if she may feel an array of energizing emotions, it was only his job to help her understand how she feels about them. And so, she may walk around if she likes, look at all the interesting things in his office, focus her mind elsewhere as she describes how she BRUTILIZED those men.

He tilts his head in thought, a roll of his wrist as he watches her come to another set of terms with her choices and that was to SPEAK THEM TO ANOTHER with the veil of confidentiality that no one other will know of any of this.

EVEN A WORM WILL TURN. He considers, the idea that this was her justice as much as it was her revenge was ULTIMATELY up to her, and how she will open that door, and whatever goes through it. CAN SHE CONTROLS WHAT GOES THROUGH IT ?

Was this a SELFLESS act ? Done for her child, and would she stay behind and send her daughter down the stream, to keep running until she sees lights and to have a better life ? AND WAS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS SO SELFISH, SO DEEPLY SELFISH TO WANT TO BE DESERVING OF SOMETHING BETTER THAT SHE JUST HAD TO TAKE IT AND BLOW THE BUBBLE AND BRAINS OF THEM ALL.

He was not UNKIND but UNORTHODOX when he provides his therapy. Sometimes, small acts of profound ideas allows the mind to make the clearing.
