Elena Valdivia-Beebo, formerly known as Elena Montenegro, was a very lonely child born to a rich family. With no siblings, and parents constantly away on business trips, the young Elena became desperate for companionship. The house became her dollhouse, and anyone who entered it was her new playmate. When Oliver and Ángel heard of odd disappearances in a rich neighborhood, they had to investigate.

What they found was a House, but not a home, and a lone child at its center. There wasn't anyone, unless you counted the people-sized dolls around the house. The place felt… wrong, yes, but something kept pulling their minds away from the idea of getting out. It didn't take particularly long to figure out the House's purpose, to keep a lonely child company, now to find its heart (and how to destroy it without potentially hurting Elena) was the trickier ask.

While Oliver went off to look around the House for its heart, Ángel stayed with Elena, playing with her and asking about Elena's family and their whereabouts, which has a simple answer: they were never around, always left her to the charge of others and would bring gifts in an attempt to fill the gap. It didn't work, of course. It was then Ángel noticed a necklace in a silver chain around her neck, with an odd sparkle to it. The Heart had been found. In return, Ángel talked about his own family, a father who left him young to go somewhere else with wealth and fortune without regard for that child.

If these parents left their daughter unattended this long, enough for their home to become Haunted in their absence… An impulsive idea, but it could work. He offered Elena to try to find a better set of parents, that no adult in their right mind would leave their child alone this long, but they needed to get out with her to find help. Elena sat on that thought, the silver necklace rusting away the longer Ángel talked and played with her. She nodded, putting the necklace into Ángel's hands, which then fell apart.

When the chain broke, the House felt suddenly lighter and Elena suddenly tired. Oliver came back to Ángel holding a sleeping child and handing him a rusted necklace.
