the thing about Workin Boys is that the women playing the Workin Girls aren't the ones who forced Hidgens to do the rewrites. it's not their fault that his autobiographical story isn't being told the way he wants it to be - the board who chose the show made that call. but the actresses are who get the brunt of his vitriol anyway. they're the ones he abuses and massacres. even Zoey - who he likes, whose acting he compliments - isn't safe from him. because even if she's doing a good job playing his stand-in, SHE'S still playing his stand-in, and he didn't want her in that role. she was never supposed to be the lead, she was supposed to be support.
