A month ago me and my girlfriend went to a friend’s house to hang out, drink a little, it was still day light. We sat on his couch most the time, listening to music, taking some shots here and there, not too much. Last I remember I was still sitting on the couch with my girlfriend and our ‘friend.’ I woke up some car I’ve never, ever seen or been in before, at a house I have never seen before. I was locked in this car. I had no shoes, no phone. They threw my wallet and my keys in the car, nothing else. $60 of cash stolen too. I tried screaming for what felt like hours, I tried kicking thru the window, with no shoes. Finally, I find a screw driver and smash the window, I’m dripping blood but I just ran. As fast as I could. I found a familiar road and got back to our ‘friends’ worried about my girlfriend, I knocked on all his windows and he tells me she went home. Without shoes still I jump in my car that had been completely wreck and ran through, I go home and I have wounds all over my body, a bite mark that has scarred and broke my arm, bruises on my arms, thighs and legs that look like hand prints, scratches, bruises on my head. I had to have my entire body examined and photoed, I had to tell the story over and over again with no idea what happened to me. I’m on HIV and STI prevention medication for months. I had to take a plan B to be save. I had to miss work for weeks before I could even sleep, before I could even step in my car again.

This was a complete nightmare.
