These cute pink cupcakes with a bow and a beautiful monogram are perfect for a baby shower party. Not only do they taste great, but they also look beautiful, which makes them a great addition to any baby shower dessert table.
Ingredients: 1 box of pink velvet cake mix. 1 cup of buttermilk. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Pink food coloring as desired. 1 batch of buttercream frosting. Pink food coloring for frosting. Fondant for monogram and bows. Powdered sugar for rolling out fondant. Edible glitter or pearls optional, for decoration.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Put the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and pink velvet cake mix in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Add pink food coloring to the batter until it's the shade of pink you want it to be. Put about two thirds of the pink batter into each cupcake liner. After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool all the way down on a wire rack after taking them out of the oven. Set the buttercream frosting aside to cool while you color it pink with food coloring. You can use a piping bag and your favorite tip to make an elegant swirl on top of the cupcakes once they are cool. You can roll out the fondant on a surface that has been dusted with powdered sugar. Then, cut out small bows for each cupcake and monogram letters for the baby's name. On top of the frosted cupcakes, put the fondant letter and bows. For a little sparkle, you can add edible glitter or pearls if you want to. At the baby shower, your pink cupcakes with the pretty monogram and bow are ready to wow everyone.
