thank you so much anonnnn 🥺 I do have instagram and twitter and tiktok (@carosapien on all three/cattysapien on tiktok!) but I stopped using all three a while ago because they just simply have the worst vibes now and I got stressed from keeping up with the algorithm. when the AI stuff started happening I dipped. I may come back to them eventually though 🤷‍♀️

my favorite aspect of momo's character is that she's strong, holds her own, and doesn't take anyone's shit. her strength and ability to fight back against her abusers are a huge part of why I love her story so much. She's a really refreshing depiction of a female shounen protagonist imo

so i'm really tired of her being passive and in need of saving all the damn time in this fucking arc! everyone's fighting, saving her, having interesting emotional character arc moments. and she's just.... there. contributing basically nothing. I don't think she's ever been this useless lol. we don't get to hear much of what she's thinking or feeling, either. it feels like she's devolved into "boring shounen girlfriend who does nothing except getting victimized" and it's so disappointing. she doesn't feel like momo at all.

It might not be in the way that you expect and most times it will be in ways you can't see

the way I took the album is that it's about her being depressed and empty inside and using harmful mechanisms to cope. she attaches herself to men and relationships and distractions to try and fill the emptiness within her, only to realize that they never will, so she sabotages them and repeats the cycle. It's not an album about healing, it's about being in the midst of that cycle and not knowing how to escape it.
