Of course, the Aging Potion was supposed to do exactly what its name suggests: make them older. But thanks to the Goblet of Fire interfering with the twins' plan, I like to imagine the potion didn't work quite the way Fred and George expected. So this is my own interpretation of what its effects could have been. Besides... come on. Fred and George Weasley were already ridiculously attractive while they were still at Hogwarts. Their adult selves would've been absolutely devastating. James and Oliver Phelps are handsome too, without question, but they're still not the Weasley twins from the books. And unless I've somehow missed it, I don't think I've ever seen fan art built around this particular idea. Plenty of artists have drawn older versions of the characters, of course, but I mean giving it an actual in-universe explanation.
