Time to tell y’all some more about Frisian proverbs! Personally, I think that proverbs say a lot about the culture of an area. Thus, proverbs are interesting to learn about! Let’s take a look under the “read more”

a lot of these are in finnish so i'm going to explain finnish grammar to you sorry

"and Lust's" -> "stiRrup" (horse saddle component)

"was corrected into a grin" (virne) -> "was corrected into a mistake" (virhe)

"of the uphill" -> "of the downhill"

"Anne" -> "Anna"

"have not" -> "havent" (missing punctuation)

"despite their suspiciousness" -> "despite their dim/suspicious back/butt fatherhood"

here it just removed the name and only left the suffix(?) that indicates "as well." so essentially the word "Edkin" means "Ed-as-well" and it was corrected to "-as-well". this is like if instead of saying "they smiled warmly" you said "they smiled ly"

"Cape West's" -> "Cape East's"

this one is like if you wrote "they are here" and it corrected to "they is here". "te" is a plural 2nd person pronoun, "luuraatte" is plural 2nd person, "luuraat" is singular 2nd person.

"everyone would do each other's makeup" -> "everyone cuts each other"

"rubedo" -> "arbedo" (not only are they both words from the same category that mean different things, but that's not even how you spell "albedo")

"paparazzis" (english) -> "paparazzis" (finnish) in the middle of a paragraph entirely in english

"cat-like/having cat-like qualities" -> "fish-like/having fish-like qualities"

"trying not to laugh" -> "trying not to skii"

"without messing [with someone]" -> "without fucking [with someone]"

"[...], Ed?' Ling [said/asked/etc]" -> Edling

almost every fma name got autocorrected to something dumb but here's one where the "bell" in "rockbell" became "pelle" (clown)

"quite the scared horse" -> "quite the unimportant/measly horse"
