My to read list also says nothing about me. Bc i never read anything in it, I pick whatever I find at the library that the librarians put forward. A book i pick up based on my to read i end up never enjoying or really reading so I go with the flow and im pleasantly surprised if I finish something I put in my to be read but forgot about. I dont like forcing it it s all about the experience of book browsing and also the surprise of reading whatever u come across

Idk if im naive or what. U know how last year I got recommended "performative reading" fucking videos of all things the algorithm could come up with loll. I dont believe in that.. reading is reading lol .... anyways recently I came across an online interaction where someone was replying to someone else's reading list with compliments about their taste or sophistication and I thought Nice! Then it turned out it was a to read list. So it wasn't even something they read. In this case it doesn't say much about the person. So yeah im a big fan of just reading whatever but yeah a to be read list says virtually nothing about someone apart from what kind of person they want to look like (if they're posting screenshots about it, otherwise it s just a private list) As for someone who reads then they re reading they're not doing "performative reading" or whatever made up bullshit is being invented

The two guys leaning in on the vogue lee miller poster were my personal podcast for min, i love it when u have this one duo where of of them is essentially giving u a free tour 😊😊 i am noticing im gradually becoming this rippp although i tend not to spoil myself ahead of an exhibition i generally listen to the radio chronic later on. Besides i dont want my experience to be influenced bc of expectation bias. Anyways i rely on past exhibitions so i had things to tell my gf about leonora carrington and became a podcast for 2 minutes. One day I will become my own long standing podcast.
