My 4 year old nephew loves to paint his nails. Any time he sees someone wear nail polish he asks if he can have some too. The most difficult part is getting him to decide what color, because he he wants all of them.

The kid’s favorite football player responded with support.

My youngest son is now 10 years old and has worn nail polish to school several times over the past couple years. He prefers the more muted colors or black but it’s the point. He asks his sisters to paint his nails and they are happy to. He’s even let one of his sisters put full make up on him (except mascara, he wouldn’t sit still for it). Unfortunately the one who had a cow and pulled the gender roll b.s. was his father.😔😳. No, he didn’t wear the makeup to school, it was a weekend, but the point is homophobic, mysoginist b.s. *does* start at home….unfortunately.

I put my husband back in his lane. If a PERSON wants to paint their nails, hair or face, (my son has done all three) that’s their right and their choice, it’s NOT a “girl thing”, it’s a HUMAN thing.
