Today is #nokings #notyrants day. To support the protection of American civil rignts and the global fight agst fismam launching an art drive to raise money for the @aclu_nationwide -- my art, in exchange for donations that will go straight to the ACLU.
This will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE -- I will accept the first 10 paid commisions that come my way.
ART DRIVE CLOSES MIDNIGHT JUNE 15, pacific time.
I will be doing human/humanoid portraits in the style of the images shown.
Here's how it works:
DM me to state your interest in the art drive. If there are still spots open, I'll respond asking for the details of the piece you'd like to commission.
I will accept payment over PayPal or Ko-Fi only. Payments are in USD.
Once I have received payment, I will begin work on your piece.
Once I have filled all 10 commission spots/hit midnight June 15, I will donate all proceeds to the ACLU and post the receipt in my stories.

E.g. resources on how to educate homophobic parents, how to work through the emotional impact of homophobic parents, or even just describing related experiences for someone who may feel alone...
In particular, resources by/for immigrants or children of immigrants would be super helpful.
The more thoughtful, empathetic, and nuanced, the better!

God honestly who knows, maybe it's the nostalgia that comes with (Canadian) Thanksgiving or the fact that a new Hozier song is out or the fact that my girlfriend confessed that she has seen most of my Tumblr feed (prompting me to scroll back through it desperately trying to imagine the impression she would've gotten of me)
It's been a while. How have you been?
It's been SO long! I've been mostly very good, with small pockets of bad (c'est la vie).
Updates... I've been working as a narrative designer since March, been dating my wonderful girlfriend for 7 months, applied for top surgery, wrote a sea shanty, made some new friends, got on anxiety meds, had several minor mental breakdowns despite the anxiety meds, started working directly on diversity and inclusion issues in the game industry, and am slowly making my own picrew!
