I (32 M) suffer from an illness that I developed while I was in a relationship with my ex-girlfriend (2000 F). The relationship was toxic, and years after we broke it off and I started dating my current partner (let's call them Tav, 28) of a few weeks I met one of my best friends, who is my ex-gf's coworker (472 M). He told me my ex found a way to stop my condition from deteriorating but she wants me to blow myself up and take out everything in 24 kilometer blast radius. My partner convinced me that I shouldn't do it, and I decided to live and not turn into a magic nuke and now my ex won't talk to me. AITA?

Edit: People asked me how old I was when we started dating. I was 17.
