Mikey destroying himself with mystic overload in that movie not once but TWICE for his brother in blue had me emotional QwQ
You can take the boy from the Apocalypse but you cant take the Apocalypse from the boy, I wanted to do a kind of looming anxiety PTSD style piece, the instinct that Casey had honed to stay alive isn't easy to shut off so as much as he appears calm and happy there is air raid sirens going off in his head
