an amazing fic where leo gets stuck in a time loop!! it has the perfect balance of humour, angst, and existentialism that sticks with you. im a sucker for time shenanigans, and this fandom has a LOT of good material

2. only going up from here by taizi (fin)

portal duo fic!! ft best baby brother mikey and awesome older brother leo. great writing and characterization (id also recommend reading the author's other fics!)

3. Tantei Ao by lunarleonardo (cont)

mystery fic!! leo becomes a detective for... reasons and his little adventures are so fun and also mildly traumatizing. the world building n plot are incredible, and all the side characters are super interesting. im stoked to see the conclusion of this :)

4. ROTTMNT One Shots/Short Stories by mad_and_thick_as_thieves (cont)

a great collection of short fics centered around the rise fam!! i haven't finished it yet, but what i've read so far is amazingly written. a sneak peek would include twin bonding, casey's... everything, bad future, and leosagi

5. Red-Eared, Silver-Tongued by DuskEverlasting (cont)

an obligatory separated au where leo grows up w draxum!! this fandom has so many, and i love each n every one of them. but this one stuck with me because draxum isnt portrayed as overly villainous while still showing how bad he could have been without his redemption arc. also angst >:)

A classic Separated AU with the brothers growing up in four different places. Leo ends up with Big Mama, but she's made a change

To stay with the times, the Battle Nexus has been revamped into something modern that's still just as entertaining and brutal: an idol championship

Leo is a performer/magician in the competition, and I'm working out what theme the others will have (bc they will ALL be competing for... various reasons)
