In my recent attempts at simply existing as an egg (as I've learned is what I am according to the internet), I feel more and more like an actor. I have been an actor before, and I am an actor now. I play the role of a young lady, feminine and delicate, sensible and stable.
Meanwhile behind the curtains, I am a young man, scared and hurt, breaking my bones to keep them delicate, crying to myself to look stable to others. But it's the role I'm playing, and my audience means the world to me.
An egg with cracks never sells.
