At first, Sasuke was really, really bad at talking his feelings out and he didn’t know how to express himself especially when it comes to affection. Instead of rushing it, you were so patient at guiding him and he slowly began to show you some adorable gestures.

His love language is probably an act of service.

If you were tagging along with him on a mission, he WOULDN’T let you carry any heavy belongings.

You were OFFENDED at first because you’re definitely strong enough but he kept treating you like you’re weak. But eventually, you begin to understand that he doesn’t mean to underestimate you or anything, this is just how he shows his affection.

On the contrary, this doesn’t apply on a battlefield

Sasuke is very much aware of how powerful you actually are. So in a battle, he’d let you do what you need to do.

He LOVES watching you fight!

He’d try his best to HIDE HIS SMILE (he’s so proud of you, for real). When he’s blown away he just couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.

“What is it, Sasuke?” , “Nothing. *pretends to cough*”

Since his love language would be an act of service, when you’re not on a mission and just stay at home, he’d love it if you let him help you cook!

He weirdly likes cutting the ingredients, takes a lot of time with it, too.

“You don’t have to cut the tomatoes into a perfect square—” , “But the recipe says… diced tomatoes.”

It’s been a long time since someone cooks for him, so if you ever prepare his favorite dish, he’d tear up, tbh.

Internally, of course.

Moving on, he would be the type of partner that’s VERY HARD to entertain. You’d eventually learn that the only thing that would make him laugh is when an enemy is getting their butts’ kicked by you. Nothing else would bring him so much happiness than seeing you being a complete badass.

It’s so hard for you to make him laugh. But, on the other hand, it’s pretty easy for you to laugh at things he does or says since it’s painfully hilarious how LITERAL he would be.

“How do you think this man drowned, Sasuke?” , “I believe because he couldn’t breathe underwater, Y/N.”

He wasn’t joking.

Or was he being sarcastic?

You honestly couldn’t tell.

Anyway, the other person who would find this funny is the one and only; Uzumaki Naruto.

You’d get along with Naruto. I honestly couldn’t see you’re not friends with him when you’re in a relationship with Sasuke. Because as much as you hate to admit this, Naruto would often tag along on your missions with Sasuke. Be it his clones or his real-self, Naruto would BE THERE.

But Naruto would help you to understand Sasuke more so you don’t mind having him around.

There’s one thing that irks you, though.

Sasuke would turn VERY COLD when there is another person around.

He’s very, very shy about being in a relationship with you (not in a bad way). He’s just so embarrassed by the idea of people seeing him in love. Even though most people don’t really care about this soft side of Sasuke, he wouldn’t even try to look you in the eyes for more than ten seconds if someone’s watching.

This would actually kill him internally because let’s not lie, he’s VERY MUCH affection-starved.

So, no. Don’t expect anything, even the tiniest romantic gesture, when you’re not alone together.

And this brings us to: what would happen if you’re finally together with Sasuke?

Oh, boy.

It would first happen in the kitchen. Usually he would try to help you wash the dishes. But this time, he’d try, to brush his hand on yours.

Many suspicious gestures, really— like trying to lean closer to your neck and his hot breath would send shivers down to your body.

Then, he’d hesitantly grab your shoulders from the back and slowly massaging you. “Rough day?” he’d ask. Surprised by his action, you replied, “Not really. How about you?”

“Could be better— if you, I mean, us, could… go upstairs and, you know?”

He’d be very, very shy (almost like he’s in denial) when it comes to physical affection. Just a single touch from you could really turn his cheeks red— so, you really need to be slow with him.

Sasuke really loves resting his head on your laps while you play with his hair lovingly. He’d listen to you talking while closing his eyes, enjoying how comfortable your touch is. Of course, he doesn’t mind when your fingers begin to trail down on his face— caressing his skin.

If you’re lucky enough you could see his lips slowly parted when you touch him as he let out a heavy sigh (this is heavenly to watch).

“Tadaa!” the man cheerfully showed his front door, which is a regular door— but everyone in Konoha knows well that this room belongs to the Hokage. “This is where you’ll find me most of the time. Don’t hesitate to drop by, alright?” the man exclaimed, but his silver-haired friend rolled his eyes.

“Of course we’ll find you here most of the time. I’m pretty sure you won’t get any of your jobs done by evening.” the silver-haired one replied, grumbling under his mask. You let out a soft chuckle. It’s hilarious to see how your silver-haired friend, Kakashi, was trying so hard to look unimpressed meanwhile you knew deep down that he’s proud of his best friend’s achievement.

“Don’t mind him! Even if you do, I’ll make sure to drop by and help you out, Obito,” you responded with a smile, which was enough to make Obito’s cheeks turned red.

He gets flustered so easily.

“Then it’s obvious,” Kakashi declared, walking closer towards Obito to took his hat off, “Y/N should be the Hokage!” he continued as he put the Hokage’s hat on your head. Kakashi and Obito stared at you for a while, both of them seemed to be admiring how the oversized hat looked great on you.

“Do you think it would be great if the face statue is a combination of both of my face and Y/N’s? Since she will be doing half of my job, too?” Obito joked, and to your surprise, the aloof Kakashi broke down in a laughing mess— repeatedly hitting Obito’s shoulder. “That would be terrible!” Kakashi said as he struggled to catch a breath.

What an adorable sight to see.

The three of you continued to reminisce the good old days— how the goofy Obito, who’s always late for a mission for helping people on his way, now is Konoha’s most important person. Although it may seem like a surprise for most people, you and Kakashi know best that Obito is indeed the best person for the job. His kindness and his determination surely stand out and are appreciated by the villagers.

“Oh, looks like I have to head out now. Got an important mission tomorrow— don’t want to be late or I’ll have to treat Naruto three bowls of ramen! Can you guys believe him?” Kakashi announced as he took a few steps back and bowed down to Obito, “See you later, Obito-sama.”

Obito yelled as a response, the way he flustered shows that he’s still not used to his close ones addressing him formally. “Now, Obito, won’t you show me your new office?” you asked looking up to him and he nodded. “Our office!” Obito joked while unlocking the door to the Hokage’s room.

There aren’t many piles of papers like you had imagined earlier— which is not a surprise considering how practical Lord Fourth was.

"Seems like Lord Fourth doesn't leave you with many jobs to do. Right, Obito?" you commented, but Obito only gave you a shrug as a response. His eyes trailed to the sight of the photographs of the previous Kages, and the cheery smile on his face slowly dimmed.  "Do you think I can be just as great as they were, Y/N?" Obito cautiously confessed while scratching the back of his neck, which wasn't itchy, to begin with. His eyes were still fixed on the photos, he admitted, "I'm pretty sure there are many people who doubt me. But I can't blame them. Compared to these amazing people, it's obvious that I'm almost... nothing."

You shut your eyes. The affliction in the words he just said sounds like he's had this internal conflict for quite a long time. The Obito you've always known is always confident, with no hesitance when he speaks his mind. But tonight you're witnessing another version of him, a fragile and insecure Obito you never know existed. 

Your hand slid to reach his— and he immediately turned his face when he felt the warmth of your touch on his skin. Slowly, but surely, you tightened the grip. When your eyes finally met Obito’s, you began to speak. “Quite the contrary— you’re, in fact, everything everyone could ever wish for.”

It was almost like a whisper, but it’s audible enough for Obito to hear it. The silence began to crawl and fill the room. Although, it’s strange how soothing it actually was. Obito’s hand in yours, both eyes were fixated on each other. Everything was so comforting. “Y/N—“ Obito breathed,

It’s safe to say that he’s like a giant baby.

He whines a lot when he’s with you. He never means to pour all of his burdens on you— it’s more like, he can be real with you and say what he wants to say.

So, yeah, he dominates the conversations A LOT. He has a lot of interesting stories to tell.

Also, when he’s with you he’s SO expressive! Would use hand gestures when talking, imitates one’s voice— it would be so funny to watch, tbh.

“And then I told Tobirama, ‘NO!’ and he was like, ‘Hmph!’ with a pout on his face— you do know what he looks like when he pouts, right, Y/N?!”

Since he talks a lot, it’s not a surprise that he accidentally spilled a thing or two about his brother and his best friend, Tobirama and Madara.

It would be so awkward. Because you never really had a chance to talk with either Tobirama or Madara that deep— yet you know some personal things about them. For example, Hashirama was so excited to tell you how Madara asked him to trim his hair to look more presentable.

One day you accompanied Hashirama for some kind of an official meeting and you met Madara along the way. You greeted Madara hesitantly and tried to sound friendly— you said, “Seems like my husband did a great job on trimming your hair!”

Madara was like, “Pardon?” as his cheeks grew red but he immediately shot Hashirama a deadly glare.

“I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL ANYONE ABOUT THAT, HASHIRAMA.”

The same goes with Tobirama. Hashirama would occasionally invite him to your house to have dinner together and he’d SPILL almost every embarrassing detail about Tobirama when he was little.

“Don’t get fooled by Tobirama’s cool appearance, Y/N! Because, let me tell you, when he was little—“, “Brother. Enough about that story already…”

So I did mention him being your husband because I honestly can’t see him in a more casual relationship or just simply dating for a long time.

This man would want to WIFE YOU UP as soon as possible.

Would probably see each other for a few months and, boom, proposal.

You just finished your dinner when you got distracted by someone knocking on your door. Usually, you’d roll your eyes to a guest coming at this hour but you knew the person behind that door. It’s very usual for Hashirama to come and pick you up at night for a night stroll since it’s his only free time. When you opened the door, Hashirama was grinning, “You look gorgeous.” he admitted. Hashirama is always that sweet, throwing sincere compliments every chance he gets. But your guts told you something was a little bit different.

“You brushed your hair?” you gushed, but he whined instead. “Y/N? Do you think this is my first time having my hair brushed?”

The ‘date’ went pretty odd. Hashirama would let himself speak for hours, telling you stories about what he faced in the past or anything. But tonight he let you dominate the conversation, asking you about your day and let you ramble instead. Just when you reached the usual spot— a wooden bench with a lake as its view, Hashirama stopped you.

“Y/N, I’ve been waiting for this moment— to find the right person to spend the rest of my life with. Will you marry me?”

WOULD SPOIL YOU ROTTEN. Like, he can’t get enough of spoiling you— everything you want, you get. Just ask Hashirama or… you don’t have to! Hashirama is very observant when it comes to you so he’d immediately know that you have something in your mind.

He’s a fine gentleman. Although he may be busy with his duty as the Hokage, he would most definitely make a time for you, mostly at night.

He’d ask you to go for a walk at night when it’s less crowded and more private. There wouldn’t be any exact destination really— you two just walk around the village holding hands, or with his hand around your waist while having either a deep or light conversation.

He’s spontaneously romantic— it doesn’t take him long to come up with something sweet to say. So, it’s not a surprise that sometimes, what he says is just… plain cheesy. (It’s still adorable, though!)

One night when you’re walking around the village, Hashirama pointed at the dark sky, “Y/N, you shine brighter than those stars.”

“Hashirama, what stars? It’s cloudy.”

WENT INTO A FULL GLOOMY MODE

But seriously, though, he’s an overall sweet guy. Would say “Watch your step.” when you could see there was nothing in the way, or “Here, have some!” and give you his last piece of food— he cares for you deeply!

I realize that I did mention him being your husband because I don’t see Hashirama being involved in a dating phase for too long

There gotta be a moment where you said or did something that just really blew his mind away and he’s like,

“She’s the ONE.”

Hashirama would be the type to fall in love with someone’s personality. Your bravery, your kindness, your sincerity— are what Hashirama would find most lovely from you.

He respects your decision a lot. But he couldn’t help to tease you occasionally about wanting to have kids. “Don’t you think it’s wonderful to see little Hashirama or little Y/N running around the house?”

His other way of giving you a hint is by unusually showering you with kisses.

Things get intimate at night with Hashirama because it’s the only time he’s truly free. You were lying on your stomach with your eyes closed, ready to go to sleep when suddenly Hashirama hopped on top of you and started kissing the back of your neck— sending shivers down your spine. You rolled over to face him, “What are you doing?”. Instead of being flustered, a smirk began to curl on his face. “Maybe this will leads us to something else.”

He’s flashing an immense charm to make you agree.

Things could get heated if it wasn’t 2 AM.

HATES fighting with you. He sees you as his ‘most precious one’ so he’d try his ABSOLUTE best to keep you happy all the time.

LOVES getting good night kisses.

You occasionally tease him by not giving him any because it’s funny to see his disappointed look when he’s not getting his kisses.

PROTECTS YOU AT ALL COSTS.

He received “Y/N Signature Punch” that day.

To your surprise, he’s not very secretive about his relationship with you. In fact, you’ve caught him frequently use you as an excuse for him to escape some unwanted occasions.

Let’s say Gai was asking Kakashi to fight him like usual— and he wasn’t having it that day. “Gai, with all respect— I would gladly accept your challenge. But can’t you feel the springtime of romance youth is blooming? I must see Y/N immediately.”

Gai’s tearing up.

Don’t worry, he actually went to your place.

“Yo. Can we hang out? I just told Gai that I would come to your place. Please say ‘yes’ to make me less of a jerk, will you?”

Would totally show up in front of your place at an ungodly hour.

At first it surprised you but now you’re used to it.

You just finished your mission, it went pretty well but you felt there were some wasted chances due to your captain’s miscalculation. It’s nearly 2 AM but you caught yourself wide awake, reviewing back your battle– only to got distracted by a knock on your bedroom’s window. Instead of turning your head in surprise, you already knew who it was. To have a little fun for yourself, you ignored the sound, which was later followed by a second knock. Walking over to the window, you saw a silver-haired man with a mask. Although half of his face was covered, it’s obvious that a smile was apparent. “Yo.” he greeted, but you replied with a sigh. “You could actually knock on the door and I’d let you in through the door. It’s something normal people would do, Kakashi.” you grumbled, opening the window for him to get in. “Ah, spare me the lecture!”

So, reverse psychology works best for Kakashi. Like the Icha Icha Tactics– the more you ignore his behavior, he would actually try not to read his book in public like you told him to. But the more you complain, he’d read it in places where he shouldn’t be reading it at all. This method works in almost every cases.

You’ve been dating for weeks, but you haven’t seen his face.

Yes, when kissing, too.

You’ve had enough of kissing fabric. 

You had planned to make a dinner together at his place. He was preparing the dishes and you’re about to finish your cooking, when he suddenly asked, “Hey, Y/N. Have you ever wondered what would I look like under this mask?” You were dying to know actually. So, now you’re stuck with two options: (a) be honest about it, (b) pull out another reverse psychological answer— and you chose the latter. “Huh? Not really,” you shrugged, “I don’t really care so it’s not like I’m eager to see it.” and of course, this was a lie. Kakashi went silent for a while. “Anyway, dinner’s re—“ you swore you could’ve dropped the whole pan when you saw an unfamiliar presence. “Kakashi?” you asked hesitantly. The man looked up with a questioning look, “Why are you blushing?” he replied casually.

“ANYONE WITH A DECENT EYESIGHT WOULD BLUSH TOO, YOU STUPID.”

He’s honestly so heavenly to look at.

Sometimes it’s just too overwhelming to see his whole face, you thought.

It’s safe to say that it’s a privilege to be able to see his face. But due to his immense charm, you’d prefer to have him with a mask on.

“Y/N, I feel naked without my mask—“ , “And I honestly feel like I’m being forced to see an illicit nudity, too. Put your mask on, it’s fine honestly.”

He’s been very good at his job for almost his whole life, a fine shinobi. So, he’s rarely exposed to mundane things, moreover a relationship. Thus, making him quite restrained in expressing himself. Plus, he was labelled with some negative titles, saying how cold-blooded he was and he just decided to live with it. This, obviously, requires a lot of patience.

But he’s determined to change, the first step he took was letting you in— into his life.

It started rocky, though.

He’d say something like how he didn’t care much about you and sadly, he really didn’t.

But as the time went by he realized how your presence has been the one that helped him through it. How you’ve always been there to comfort him, by listening to him, giving him a lot of supports, or simply by reminding him that he’s not completely alone.

And when that moment came, he’s sworn to protect you with all his might.

He had a lot of nightmares, he still does, unfortunately. But when you’re around, your presence eases him up a little.

When you’re not around, however, he’d rather spend all night unhealthily tiring himself until he fall asleep.

His personal favorite would be curling up next to you with his hand around your waist while hiding his face near the crook of your neck as he’s giving you some soft neck kisses.

Again, NECK KISSES.

He had a hard time trying to open up himself fully to you and this applies to romantic gestures, I believe. He surely would take his time to explore you, what you like, and what he likes.

Would shower you with kisses, all over your face without missing a spot. He greatly admires every inches of yourself.

Lowkey (semi highkey) protective.

Would straight up jump to save you if it’s necessary.

And since he’s a show-off, he lowkey loves PDA— but the soft ones, of course. You two would always get spotted together. He would casually sling his arm around your shoulder or lazily has his hand wrapped around your waist.

Favorite time to spend with you is training together. No matter how many times you’ve told him to “fight with an intent to win” he simply refuses— saying how, he’s “far too powerful” for you.

But deep down he just doesn’t want to hurt you…

Chatting in the middle of a training

“Tsunade-sama hasn’t assigned me any missions lately *throws kunai*” , “Maybe if you threw your kunai accurately, she will. *dodge kunai*” , “Kakashi, shut your pretty mouth up. *throws MORE kunai aggressively*”

When you turned him down while he was showing off his new tricks, though, it weirdly turned him on.

He loves someone powerful, with a right amount of cocky.

Doesn’t talk big. He’s a man of action— his action speaks louder than words!

Doesn’t spoil you that much, though. Because it’s actually him who needs to be spoiled.

Really loves it when you trace your fingers all over his skin— it’s intimately soft, he claimed.

LOVES YOUR SCENT. Has it memorized probably.

He’d prefer someone independent. Someone who could actually take care of themselves instead of relying on him completely. 

Anyone too childish would remind him of Team 7, tbh.

Speaking of Team 7, they would probably be the one to get introduced to you.

Naruto was so shocked to find out that his sensei was capable to develop a romantic feeling towards someone. But he had his doubt— do you really know Kakashi? He started to bombard you with questions to test your knowledge.

“So, do you know what’s Kakashi Sensei’s favorite—“ , “I’ve seen his face. Multiple times.” , “YOU WHAT?”

Complained and sulked about it, “Kakashi Sensei, we’ve trained together for years. How could you?!”

Sakura was confused.

“How? I know he’s probably very handsome under that mask but come on, Y/N, reading smut in public? That’s an absolute no.”

On the contrary, Sasuke was thrilled, internally.

“Yeah. Finally. Old man has someone to annoy besides us. About time.”

He has a pretty bad behavior, too. Unlike Gaara, who’d put an emotionless facade when he’s only in the Kazekage mode, Kakashi would treat you just how he feels like doing it that day. 

Let’s be real, he has so many bottled up feelings inside his heart so it’s not a surprise that someday, somehow, a random painful emotion just hit him— hard, and he shut himself out.

The hospital is the place you immediately visit right after Kakashi’s arrival after a mission because you know he’d be there— reading his book with a few bruises here and there. But this time was a bit different. When he’s hospitalized, he would whine about you not being able to stay more than an hour— but right now you’re puzzled, since he’s been completely silent and avoiding you, answering your questions with a mere shrugs.

Tsunade told you that the mission went pretty well, thanks to Kakashi for eliminating all the enemies on the field, singlehandedly. You automatically knew that it must brought up his past traumas. “Kakashi, it’s not your fault.” you decided to speak, earning a glance from Kakashi, but that’s it. “It’s a mission and you protected all of your comrades!”

“I killed them, Y/N. I didn’t have to, but I did.” he said, with his eyes still glued elsewhere. “Every time I look at my hands, I feel dirty. It reminded me of that—“, “Kakashi, look at me.”

A lot of “Hey, can you come over?” dates.

For relationship advices, he listens more to Choji’s than Ino’s.

“Listen, Shikamaru. The most important thing is your gestures. You have to show Y/N that you’re actually a fine gentleman—“ , “Just give her your last piece of meat then I bet she’d love you forever.” you can already guess which one is Ino and which one is Choji, right?

SHOGI DATES

So, the first time he had shogi date in his mind, he was REALLY overthinking it. He thought, you’d hate playing shogi together since it’s boring and it’s considered an old person game. But to his surprise, you LIKE it.

At first, of course, you were very bad it. Shikamaru beat you mercilessly— and would laugh hysterically about you losing.

But you started to understand how the game works and you’d eventually came up with a lot of strategies in your mind. So, one day, during your “can you come over” dates— you suggested, “Hey, why don’t we play Shogi?”

Shikamaru really didn’t see what’s coming

You left the Naras SPEECHLESS for MINUTES

Shikaku’s eyes were widened— he spent his years losing to Shikamaru. But today, as you grinned widely, Shikamaru sat in defeat. The younger Nara stayed calm, examining his pawns. On the contrary, the older Nara bursted into laughter, hitting his son’s shoulder repeatedly. “Y/N! You actually beat Shikamaru!”

Shikamaru’s mad on the outside but internally he’s like, “WIFEY.”

Seriously, don’t feel bad. For him, you’re a God-sent now that you beat him in Shogi. He’s planning a wedding in his mind.

Now let’s talk about touches. He’s not a big fan of PDA, because for him, it makes people uncomfortable. But he’s SO amazing with words— he’s a big flirt and there are so many aggressive sexual tensions between the two of you and THAT’S WHAT MAKES PEOPLE UNCOMFORTABLE ACTUALLY

“Do you think you can paralyze him with your shadow jutsu, Shikamaru?” , “Seriously, Y/N? If I could strangle you last night then I’m pretty sure I can now—“ , “(Ino, stressed out in a battlefield) GUYS COME ON NOT NOW HE HAS A BLADE.”

His favorite way to spend some time with you is obviously by taking a nap together, especially after a tiring missions. He’d take off his vest and throw himself on the bed. You’d stand near his bed and he’d go, “Come.” inviting you to sleep next to him.

He loves it when you’re curled up next to him inside a blanket— skins touching. He’d bury his head in your hair and play with your hair lazily until he’s asleep.

NEVER WAKES HIM UP because he has the prettiest face when he’s asleep like he looks so peaceful

Please, kiss him right after he wakes up. He just gained a lot of energy and it’s the best time to earn what you deserve!

“Y/N, how long have you been awake?” he whispered while rubbing his eye when he saw your back— sitting on the edge of the bed. Without saying anything, you crawled to him, leaning in for a kiss. Just when your lips touched, his hands began to travel down to your waist, pulling your weight closer to him. His fingers traced your skin as he deepened your kiss. “Excited much?” you broke the silence, “I thought you’re the one who’s excited.” he smirked.

Besides taking a nap together, he really likes having an interesting discussions with you. Please ask him about his opinions, theories, or basically anything! He’d spend hours explaining things and end up lost in his own thoughts but I swear it’s worth it because he’s so passionate talking about the things he’s interested in!

Would be very flustered at the end (but would try to hide it) because he’d think you’re bored

“Ah, sorry, Y/N.—“ , “*heart eyes* NO, PLEASE, CONTINUE.”

As much as he loves having discussions with you, he hates having to argue with you, though.

Arguing, especially with you, definitely falls in the “what a drag” category, too. He’s a determined guy— and so with his principles. So, when the both of you are being stubborn, he’d definitely leave you mid-argument, bidding his farewell.

Something like, “You know what, Y/N? This has been quite a drag. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

But boy will be in a full emo mode later at night

Would stare at the ceiling for hours. Pretending to play Shogi with someone. All these to distract himself as he’s trying to cool himself down.

You wouldn’t believe it, but he’d totally walk to your place at night and wait outside your window for some time but then decided to come back home. He knows that he was being a little like a jerk by leaving you in a middle of the conversation.

He’d come first thing in the morning to make up with you.

“Shikamaru, what are you doing?” , “I brought breakfast.”

It would be a little awkward at first, eating breakfast together after a heated argument with no settlement. But he’d be the one to apologize, and he’d be the type to apologize with no “but”s. He’s very nice like that.

All he ever wants to do is cloud-gazing with you, tbh. 

Even though he appears to be a cool person, he’s quite sensitive especially when he’s frustrated. When he’s unable to solve things, when there’s no way out.

It’s very heart-breaking to see him cry, actually. His body would shake, heavy sobs, gritted teeth. It’s painful. 

It happened one time when he found out you had been seriously injured after a mission.

You were together assigned for a mission with the other crews, and he was the one who came up with the battle plan. He trusted you with your power, so he put you with the strongest opponent as well. Unfortunately, he miscalculated your opponent who, apparently, got so much surprise attacks under his sleeve— leaving you defeated.

He blamed it on himself.

He stayed with you every day when you’re hospitalized. Looking at your bruises face triggered every fibers in his body. His head hurt— and tears started to heavily poured from his eyes.

You wake up to the sound of Shikamaru crying, his head was buried on the bedsheet. You could actually tell how he was in agony by the way his body trembled. “Shikamaru.” you called weakly— but it surprised him. His eyes were swollen red, runny nose, and his cheeks wet from his tears. “I’m okay—“ , “It’s my fault, Y/N. I didn’t—“ , “I’m okay.” you repeated yourself.

Even though you’re together, he wouldn’t explicitly admit that you’re his S/O— instead, he’d be very subtle about it. It’s very common for him to say something like, “Well, I do know her pretty well.” or other similar things.

His favorite romantic gesture is holding your hands, and surprisingly, he’s not that shy about doing it in public. To him, holding your hands can also be a form of encouragement or reassurance.

He’s very sentimental about holding your hands, actually. It’s his way to know that you’re still there for him— that you’re still by his side. So, whenever he’s feeling happy, your hand would be the first thing he’d reach. When he’s scared, expect a tight grip.

Definitely very bad at communicating his jealousy.

Jealousy is a new thing for him and he pretty much doesn’t know what to do about it. He’s just too afraid that you’d find him weird for feeling jealous.

Don’t worry, though, it would be quite obvious. He’d look uneasy and alerted. Since he’s not a big fan of PDA, when he’s jealous, however, he’d stand awkwardly close to you to the point it would make people nearby uncomfortable.

The Kazekage has SO MUCH SPACE to stand but he’d stand really, really, really close to you.

“Gaara, what is it? Is there something you’d want to tell me?” , “No... not really.” , “Then why are you this close to me?”

But as the time goes by, you started to understand that this is an obvious sign of him being jealous.

And being a thoughtful person that you are, when he’s jealous, you’d grab his hand and brush his skin with the tip of your thumb gently. It’s now your way to tell him “I’m okay, you’re okay.” and he’d eventually breathe a sigh of relief.

Back to kisses, don’t worry, he kisses you every morning and every night— just right after he wakes up and when he’s about to sleep. It almost feels like he’s thanking the universe that you’re still the first and the last sight he’d see every day.

Morning kisses are rather lazy. It would just feel like his lips brush yours and... done. Sometimes it would just be on your forehead or cheeks, too.

But the night ones... yes.

He’s very passionate about kissing you at night. It would somehow turn very heated but man he’d get... shy.

As you were laying on your bed together he’d tuck your hair behind your ears and with your eyes closed he’d lean forward and start kissing your lips gently and when it’s getting heated he’s moving on top of you and

Let’s skip to the next morning, shall we? He’d make you breakfast.

Although... he’s not the best cook, of course.

He’d actually struggle.

Expect inedible food... there are some sands.

He’d eventually just do his part by making tea or wash the dishes. This man definitely doesn’t belong in the kitchen, I’m so sorry.

He’d love to have you close to him. So, if you’re not staying in the Sand Village, he’d expect you to come by whenever you’ve got a chance or he’d simply fly himself to wherever you’re staying. He’s clingy, you guys.

Of course he’d sleep lightly when you’re on a mission.

He’s SO, SO WORRIED.

But he’s pretty good hiding it. Or he simply has a lot of Kazekage things to do to distract him.

It’s either “doze off for hours thinking about Y/N” or “BRING ME THOSE 1000 PAPERS TO SIGN I WANT TO KEEP MYSELF BUSY”

It’s not like he doesn’t trust you and the things you’re capable to do, he just doesn’t want to lose you.

Will 100% be at the front gate to welcome you.

Or it’s just his flying eye.

His true self is acting cool at his own office.

Come on, the Kazekage doesn’t want to look like he has a favorite.

“Oh, you’ve arrived? When? Why didn’t I notice that...” and other lies.

If you’re not from or staying in the Sand Villages, he’d simply ask about your wellbeing to the Kage... very subtly.

“With this official message, I hereby congratulate your village for another successful mission. On behalf of Sand Village, it would do us a tremendous joy if you could report back the mission— to know if there’s any casualties. Best regards.” or something like that, honestly.

WOULD SPOIL YOU!

Would most likely take you to his garden.

He’s very thoughtful about it, too. He’d learn facts about flower and tell you about it and of course he’d pick a flower that suits you best.

It would be: your favorite flower, his favorite flower, a flower with a sweet meaning for you, and a flower that describes you best.

Any of those flowers would be your nickname.

Would keep your photo in his dashboard. It wouldn’t be framed on his office desk but it would be the first thing he’d see when he opens his dashboard.

The framed one would be on his nightstand.

He would actually own some... they’re his personal favorites.

The first one would be a picture of yourself, smiling brightly on his garden— with a flower being tucked behind your ear.

The second one would have a little story behind it: it’s a little shaky photo of the both of you. You were trying to get a picture together but no one was around to take the picture. So you offered him to do it yourself but you were struggling to get into the frame, and you tiptoed. But you lost your balance in the middle of photo-taking and the picture came out blurry. Gaara thought your expression in the picture was cute and he decided to keep it.

His role as the Kazekage, unfortunately, would mainly be the cause of your relationship problems.

Him being too caught up with his job... what’s new.

And this is where the Sand Siblings help!

You’d let Kankuro know about your problems. He’d try to talk to Gaara about the matters. Meanwhile Temari would give you emotional support— being there to listen to your vents and all.

Naruto would sometimes help

But the two of you don’t usually have an argument because he’s just simply not with it.

The concept of ‘anger’ itself highly reminds him of his past-self, which he desperately tries to bury. So, to have a fight with you definitely would be some kind of a torture for him.

“Let’s talk about this when our heads have cooled down.”

WOULD NEVER RAISE HIS VOICE! Never.

He’s honestly too sweet.

Arguing, or solving problems with him would involve a lot of sighs every minutes because he’d try his best to calm himself down.

It would always end well. You two have a soft spot for each other.

He’d grab your hands and kiss your knuckles.

You two had decided to get a drink— and of course, he was the one who suggested it. As you were chatting in a rather empty bar, the lamps that seemed to be old enough to die anytime soon, illuminated the two of you. Kiba had just finished laughing, as he continued to gulp another shot. Your sight traveled to see how his traditional outfit’s just as messy as yours. His presentable hair has been razed, since he occasionally ran his fingers through it. But on the contrary, despite how ‘bad’ he looked now, this Kiba seemed to be having fun, too.

“So,” he decided to start a new conversation, “I thought girls are looking forward to the fireworks display.” he added, while wiping a few droplets of Sake near his lips.

You were, actually. You and the girls spent almost a week preparing your best looks for this day, for this special occasion. Who doesn’t want to look pretty after spending almost years fighting criminals in a Jounin vest?

But when you were enjoying the local cuisines with Ino, she nudged your arm, “Y/N, Kiba is approaching.” Turning your head to face him, you saw the brunette man walking towards you— minus his loyal companion. “Oh, Kiba! I haven’t seen Akamaru around.” you greeted. Kiba let out a forced chuckle, “Eh... He’s, you know, not that fond of fireworks.” he claimed, followed by a nod from you.

“You look gorgeous, Y/N!”

He blurted out— but it seemed like he was also unaware of what just came out from his mouth, judging by the way how he was trying to cool himself down. Ino, being pretty intuitive, shot you a smile, “I think I’ll leave you two alone.” she said as she made her way out, to the other booth nearby.

To put it quite simple, you and Kiba are pretty close— or if you’re being honest, Kiba is trying to be closer with you. His gestures are different when he’s with, let’s say, Hinata. When he’s with you, he always seems to be flustered and less cocky. Scratching his non-itchy hair every minutes, nervous sweats here and there, avoiding eye contacts—are some of the examples of Kiba’s behavior around you.

“What do you say if we get out of here and grab ourselves some drinks?” and that question led the two of you here, alone in a bar, slyly chuckling—and half drunk.

The drinks were nowhere near empty, which you took as a sign to keep going. You poured another shot before leaning forward—face nearly touched, “Kiba, tell me—have you been thinking about me?”

Kiba stayed silent for a few seconds. He couldn’t differentiate the heat of the alcohol and embarrassment, as they just collided into a ball of intensity in his stomach. Sweats started to drop and he was running out of words to respond, completely stunned by your question. But one thing for sure, he knew, you were already under the influence of Konoha’s famous Sake. After sorting a few words to say, he reached out his hands—brushing a few strands of your hair to the back of your ear gently, “Yes, Y/N. You’ve always been in my mind, almost every day.”

You felt a medium pang on your head, you’ve never been that tolerant to any sort of alcohol anyway, and you slowly rested your head to the back of your seat. “Kiba, you were saying?” you replied. He let out a helpless giggle,

His atrocious-self drives you mad, and not in a good way. The hesitance to even talk to him is killing you slowly. You know him pretty well, but you’ve always felt like he put a hard, cold wall between the two of you, that left you puzzled about what he actually feels inside. You pushed yourself to move the swing—all these thoughts end with a sigh. Once again, you’re unable to figure him out, and you let out a helpless puff.

“You come here often?”

A voice called from the distance, and it seems to be approaching. You know this voice too well. “Actually, yes.” You replied while fixing your gaze straight to the front, forcing yourself to look and sound aloof—which earned you a scoff. You could feel the heat inside yourself started to build, and judging by the shadow, he was standing right behind you. “Actually, I know that, too.” Now you’re raising an eyebrow.

He made his way to the other seat next to you. He kicked the ground to push himself to the back, making his seat to swing. You finally braced yourself to face him, only to be completely blown away by how the evening sunrays perfectly showered the side of his face. For a second, he’s not the cold Sasuke you’ve always thought you knew—this version of him feels warmer.

You gulped your fantasies down as you’re trying to match the pace of his swing. “Just what you said before, what did you mean?” you asked. “This is my favorite place,” he paused, “and I always find you here as well.”

“You didn’t bother to say something, huh?” you joked, which successfully made him turn to you. He kept his gaze for seconds before looking back to the front. “You always seem to have a lot of things going on. I just simply didn’t want to bother you.”  

“So, now you decided to bother me?”

You swore this isn’t the conversation you’ve been dreaming of having with him. For all the times he has shut you down, you slowly began to develop some kind of a defense mechanism.

“I just thought you’d need someone, Y/N.”

Naruto has been pretty occupied with a lot of missions lately and as much as you wanted him to loosen up even just a little bit, his optimism never fails to melt your worries away. “Don’t worry, Y/N. I’ll be back before you know it!” was what he promised you days ago.

He never breaks his own promises, right?

This one was different, however. You heard from the others that Naruto’s mission was a tough one, many people had been injured. Averagely speaking, Naruto would come back to the village less than a week—with his usual sheepish smile that would greet you at the main gate, but why did this one take longer than usual? Severe thoughts started to haunt you, forcing you awake at night.

You were woken up the next morning by the sound of birds chirping outside. “Finally,” you whispered to yourself. Konoha had been poured by heavy rains, dark clouds were surrounding the village—as if it also worried for Naruto’s whereabouts. You took the decent weather as a sign that it’s going to be a better day, and something good you had been expecting would happen. Without hesitation, you rushed to the front gate as your heartbeats grew faster.

“Oh, Y/N. Late for something?” a sweet voice stopped your steps from behind. You turned around, familiar with the voice that belongs to your pink-haired friend. “Sakura, I was just—“ you were about to answer her question when a sudden ache rushed, and it successfully paused you from speaking. Sakura was also assigned on the same mission with Naruto. With her right in front of your sight, it only means one thing, he’s back. “Where’s Naruto, Sakura?!” you yelped, followed by a soft smile from Sakura.

Your footsteps were louder than usual, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the whole village knew where you’re going. Sakura told you that the assigned team had arrived back at dawn and everyone immediately went back to their places. It’s very understandable, since the mission itself was hard and the chosen ones must’ve needed a rest. But you had no intention to stop yourself. Smiling ear to ear, you headed straight to a house—a messy house that, somehow, always smell like a freshly-cooked noodle. This time, though, you didn’t bother to knock on the front door. Pulling a full stunt, you climbed up to the window instead.

“Wake up, Naruto!”

The owner of the name jolted from his rest, surprised by a presence that had been casually watching him asleep. “Y/N! How did you—“, “As usual, you left your window unlocked.” You sneered. Naruto took his time to process what had been going on as he was rubbing his eyes. After making sure your breath was steady enough to talk, you decided to sit on the edge of the bed. Naruto followed your eyes, a smile started to grow. “Y/N, I was about to visit you later, you know? But a nap had to be taken! There are so many things that I want to tell you. The mission was pretty crazy—“

“I miss you.”

Just when you thought your voice was inaudible, Naruto froze. Realizing the sudden silence, a heat was sent to your entire body, making your cheeks blushed, “Uh… W-what… You were saying?” you asked abruptly as you’re trying to hide your face without being questionable. Upon seeing you flustered and red, Naruto ran his fingers through his hair. “I’m sorry for making you worried. But, hey, I’m here, you know? Uzumaki Naruto never breaks his promise and you, Y/N, know that for sure!” he grinned.

You felt like all of your distress had been lifted. The person you missed the most was finally within your touch, once again. It’s like the sky was trying to tell you that the sunshine himself, had arrived, and you had nothing to worry about anymore.
