in honor of my updating my profile for the first time in three years, here goes some headcannons for my og guys.
i've possibly done something similar to this for naruto but i can't remember

naruto
he's the type to show up at your door with a bag of snacks and a big dumb grin, ready to convince you to go on a spontaneous ramen date.
naruto is what i like to call, aggressively supportive; he cheers you on even if it's a small victory. (like remembering to bring your kunai) and pout super dramatically when your upset.
his love language is a good mix of physical touch and quality time. always going to hold your hand, drape his arm over your shoulder, have a hand on your waist. you guys could be doing nothing, and he'd still find a way to be touching you. that also goes for spending time together, whether it's cooking together (you're doing most of the cooking), sitting outside, or even lying together. he appreciates it all.
sasuke
compared to his friend, sasuke likes to show he's devoted by actions instead of words.
he's not big on PDA, but he always makes sure your safe and comfortable. putting his cloak over you if you fall asleep, remembering your favorite thing to drink.
sasuke would rather spend time just the two of you, like a quiet evening watching the stars. holding you close, your head resting on his shoulder. in a moment like that, where he's with the one he cares about most, would he say "i love you."
shikamaru
hear me out, shikamaru is a super great boyfriend. he complains but with you he's not serious. he's the type to say he won't get something and come back with it for you anyways with a smirk on his face. he loves you no doubt.
and he's a little awkward when it comes to your relationship, especially in person. making him blush all the time, literally. but if you asked for a kiss, he'd give you one. he's got butterflies all the time. but everyone knows he loves you.
i'd say his love language is quality time. being around you while you cook, or playing shogi. when he leaves for missions he can't help but miss your presence.
gaara
loves you so loudly. right up there with naruto. i do think that the lack of love he recieved growing up, i think gaara would be super proud to show you off. everytime he went somewhere and thought of you he'd bring something back. if you were walking about the sand village together he would be cheesing the entire time. he loves to be around you.
he's not an overly touchy guy. his love language i would be words of affirmation. always telling you how beautiful you are. taking time to praise you. kissing your hands, really connecting with you.
he's the type to to wake you up with little kisses to the face.
sai
paint me like one of your french girls.
you pour into him so much and he pours into you. him learning and navigating every day how to feel and love. you're showing him exactly what that feeling should be.
sometimes you'd wake up, and there would be papers everywhere. each time in a different position than the night before. sai often tells you that your beauty is one of a kind. every little thing you did inspired him. you guys could be at home, admiring you from a perspective all his own.
his love language is passed through his art. wanting to capture your beauty for other eyes to see, he loves you, and sometimes it gets hard; he might not know how to convey it directly with words, but his art would tell you exactly what he's feeling.
