I just know Q would be insufferable in a heatwave. Like not even in his charmingly antagonistic way, just pissy and unbearable, throwing himself on furniture complaining (it's too bloody hot, it's just unreasonable; don't touch me, in fact stay over there, you're worse than a furnace)

Bond doesn't seem to notice the heat, wearing his three-piece suit at work (what the hell, James, I'm hot just looking at you) (why thank you) (not like that. urgh!) but making up for it with the skimpiest short shorts at home, doing all the housework while Q's bearing the middling warmth with the grace of a cranky toddler and apparently already too sticky to appreciate the show

They annoy each other greatly... at least until the heat breaks and Q deigns to allow a scantily clad Bond anywhere near him again
