so you're a parent, right? and your kid's school has been keeping in pretty constant contact about their staffing issues. you get it; it's not like education has ever been a well-paid job. maybe you even considered it once, a million years ago, but you discounted the idea as soon as you saw the paygrades - it really is a vocation for those people.

Which is, I think, an important distinction to hold in your head the entire time you interact with these hypocrites; you are never going to beat them.
