The major plot beats of his life includes fighting weld leaving him with vaguely metallic skin and being selected by Siberian for the nine which he rejected before joining up with the main cast.

Gwen: a breaker/blaster triggered by the excessive pressure of being a perfect student her power is simpler she builds up energy in her body that will eventually violently leak out that can be controlled in a breaker state that looks like the anodites from alien force being mostly energy she feels truly free in this form but loses her ability to feel sensations like warmth and touch leading her to try to limit its use often feeling like a ball of energy in a skin suit. The only one that bothered to get set up via the official channels as an independent and is scene as the only sensible powered member of the team.

Ben: a cluster trigger that gained full control over the powers as the rest of the group died in a simurgh fight all the powers are changer or breaker based giving him a verity of forms from a body made of crystal to a mass of visceral muscle the personality bleed and the effects of being a cape mixed with whatever the simurgh did lead to a strange effect on his personality some days he’s sensible and rational others he’s overconfident and an asshole regardless he has a major hero complex and refuses to not run in to any situation he thinks he can help in even when it costs him.

Max:ex-military turned PRT training instructor with a degree in parahuman studies and the only reason the kids weren’t forced into the wards after they got powers more serious than in cannon but the least changed was approached by cauldron but refused due to not trusting the organisation and putting enough of the puzzle together to realise that they are connected to the case 53s but keeps quiet to protect his grandkids
