Adults (I prefer to say mature people) do not really need to prove anything to anyone in such cases. They do not need to have a massive moan to the whole world about how they were bullied for their taste in music — only for everyone to start listening to the same stuff now anyway. old (and, sadly, soviet) vs new watercolours

my first set of watercolours was given to me when I was 16, and that is a soviet (technically, this brand still exists in r*ssia, but idc and you should) set of 24 colours (some of them died cause the set is at least 45 y.o.) that I have been using for 8 years.

today, I bought a new set (I chose Van Gogh, I am not that rich, ye know) of 12 colours and... omg I love it, though those are only 12 pieces.

the pigmentation, the colours, the way I can control it — I am loving it.

I first tried American chocolate (my uncle brought some Hershey’s bars) when I was 11 or 12, but I don’t really remember what it tasted like. However, a few weeks ago I tried Reese’s Pieces for the first time and thought they were spoiled at first. I mean… the taste of medicine, vomit, and sugar?

After doing some research on the issue, I found out that the peanut butter cups were okay — it was just their natural taste.

I tried classic Hershey’s again. Well, it didn’t actually taste the same as Reese’s, though it still tasted awful. Pure waxy vomit and sugar.

I also tried various drinks, gummies, and cereals from the USA. Those were better, but I couldn’t finish any of the drinks because of how much sugar they contained. Some artificial flavours caused a rash.
