theleadmill: It isn’t often our archives receive something quite this special, so when we got an email regarding some UNSEEN ARCTIC MONKEYS PHOTOS there was quite the hubbub in our office! Taken on 22nd January 2006 the day before the launch of their debut album (and their rise to stardom), the support line-up came from Milburn, Reverend & The Makers and The Harrisons, and marks AM’s last Sheffield headline show as a band without a number one album to their name. Our sincere thanks to Jasmine who dropped these off for us, a 15 year old fan stood at the barrier on the night capturing a true snapshot of Sheffield and indie music history ❤

Bondy: When we first begun we were intent on a Symphonic Pictures show being an all round spectacle, I think it was only about our third gig and we did it with a full size video wall and showed short films we’d made for each track. However, it then became apparent we couldn’t continue to do that for every show just yet!
