Hello! There really wasn’t much else to it! They were backstage at the portacabins at Kendal and Peter was there with Katia and had the baby on his shoulders. He was getting ready to leave and Carl walked over to say goodnight - Peter said “love you” and Carl leaned in (think he gave him a peck on the cheek but I can’t be sure from the angle I was at). I couldn’t catch what Carl said in response. Then they parted ways. That was the whole thing. X

Genuinely shed an embarrassing tear when Carl handed me this old coin he’d been carrying for luck. He said Peter stole it from him for six months and recently returned it. I was envious of the coin he’d given @suchasinistergame a few years back, so to have my own “lucky coin that languished for years in Carl’s pocket” (plus some time thieved in Peter’s pocket) means so much to me. Was a chaotic few evenings and we neglected to get a single photo with anyone but walking away with this token is all I’ll ever need.
