      ‘  zat,  ’  eddie whines, no longer hungry. and he was looking forward to that sandwich, too.  ‘  that’s not even sanitary.  ’  he grumbles, mourning the loss of his reuben.  ‘  y’know, coming back from the dead doesn’t exactly come with a handbook.  ’  or a way to magically erase the last two minutes of his life— which would be real handy right about now. 

      ‘  why are you so afraid to love  ?  ’  he tries to look properly scandalized, but an upward curl of his lips and the mirth in his eyes contradicts the severity of his tone.  ‘  does he have a name  ?  ’  eddie asks, extending his hand toward the lil’ guy.

    “ i saw the coolest, coolest thing today.  world’s largest ball of twine.  wanna souvenir?  i got like — six regular sized balls of twine to give away. ”

      ‘  you didn’t like    untwine the world’s largest ball of twine to make those regular sized balls of twine, did you  ?  i’m not sure how i’d feel about being an accomplice to twine theft.  ’

            “   tell me ‘bout y’LOVE LIFE,  would ya ??  tell me ‘bout your someone special.  ”

      ‘  uh           if you insist. they’re not from around here. not originally, anyway. they’ve got this hard shell around their heart, but give it a minute and you’ll find they’ve got a real gooey center. and that’s not even the best part about them, y’know  ?  it’s that they’re always willing to spice things up a bit that really drives me crazy. hot damn        i love CHALUPAS.  ’
