Hi everyone! Super excited to (belatedly) reveal my @dcjbigbang collab with @strwbryshortie! :D Due to the nsft tumblr rules, we were a little delayed posting it here (also I’m an airhead). Thank you so much Kelsey for being an amazing partner, and thank you so much to the DCJBB mods! We couldn’t have done it without yall <3

First things first: Read the rules and requirements.

Rules:

To participate in this writing challenge you must be 18 years of age or older. There are frequently explicit storylines and scenes in the material produced from this challenge.

Main ship has to be Dean/Cas/Jimmy

There can be other ships but end goal has to be DCJ

As much as we love to see all kinds of pairings this is the Dean/Cas/Jimmy Big Bang, so the end game should be those three together.

Any other side pairings are fine

No RPF or RPS.

Underage must be tagged

No extreme underage in sexual situations (under 13)

No extreme age gaps if one of the characters is underage (no 14 years olds with 28 year olds for example)

Mentions of past underage abuse/involvement is acceptable as long as there is none shown “on screen”

All major warnings must be tagged in your summary, and cannot be subsequently changed unless you consult with your artist and they say it’s alright.

Major warnings are: Rape/Non Con, Dub Con, Underage, Major Character Death, Graphic Depictions of Violence; Suicide/Self-harm, Torture, Bestiality, Addiction

Crossovers allowed, DCJ must be the main focus though

Must be an original work not posted anywhere else before your posting date. It’s fine if you started writing the work before the challenge began, as long as it’s never been shared publicly.

Summary: Purgatory was an odd experience for Dean, not just because he was surprised to find out that Purgatory was an actual thing but because he wound up killing monsters and looking for his angelic best friend with said best friend’s former vessel. Getting out, it turns out, was the easy part. Between Cas’s disappearance, Jimmy’s identity crisis, Dean’s guilt, and Sam’s quest to shut the gates of Hell, they’ve all got more than enough to deal with, but of course nothing is ever that easy for the Winchesters. There’s the little matter of what remains unspoken between Dean and Castiel, and how it’s bound to change now that Jimmy’s bound to complicate it all. 

And of course, Heaven and Hell aren’t just going to let them deal with it all in peace, either.

Summary: 

When the hunter community has kids, it’s kind of hard to get a babysitter. That’s where Bobby Singer comes in. He’s gruff and not at all what someone would want in a sitter, but he’s perfect for hunters. When he’s busy during a case, the Novaks have to take their kids with them. Of course, that’s when the worst happens. 

Dean and Jimmy are as happy as a couple of hunters can be. Of course they have their baggage, but that’s normal for anyone in the hunting life. The supernatural doesn’t bring you in by offering cookies, it only offers heartache. So when you are given something good while being immersed in something so bad, it makes you question everything.  

When Sam and Eileen come back with something unexpected it has the potential to change everything. Castiel was always someone they were looking for when they were in the area, but they weren’t sure they would find him. They weren’t sure they really wanted to. Will finding Jimmy’s long lost brother tear their bubble apart or will it bring them even closer together?

Summary:

Dean Winchester is a drifter. Taking on odd jobs whenever he feels like it, or his wallet gets exceptionally light and driving wherever his heart takes him. The oppressive summer heat drives him up out of Texas and heading north. Without a real destination in mind, he drives till he stops at a charming-looking roadhouse where the burgers are good and the pie is even better. Turns out there might be a job for him in town. The Novak twins are hiring a crew to go wrangle their herd of cows. Why not apply? They’re known for paying fair wages and provide food and lodgings for their seasonal workers.

Dean does go have a look, and it’s not just the wages that convince him to sign the temp contract. Calling the twins good-looking would be an understatement. They are a bit weird though, which is normal with twins. Right? It’s normal for them to be a bit awkward around someone they barely know. Peeping on said stranger does seem a bit excessive. It could be his imagination playing tricks, but Dean’s pretty sure someone is watching him. Maybe even someones. 

As the days go by, and more workers show up, Dean’s suspicions grow, as does his fondness for his bosses. Of course, he can’t actually act on the feelings. That wouldn’t be appropriate. He’ll get the job done, and then that’ll be it.

Excerpt: 

“You know any good places to stay?” He plays with the condensation on the glass. Nudges the coaster.

“Depends on what you’re planning to do.”

“Not sure yet, any jobs that need getting done?” There’s an old notice board at the far end of the bar, but Dean’s sure she’ll be able to give him more accurate info than the scraps tacked up there.

Jo wipes at the bar, thinking hard as she makes the old wood shine.

“Not many, but the Novak’s are looking for extra hands for a cattle drive. You know how to ride?”

Dean does know how to ride, so she draws him a simple map on the back of a cardboard coaster, and warns him that the owners are twins.

“They’re really good people,” she insists. “but they like pranking new guys, and I think it’s even funnier when they can’t. Tell ‘em Jo sent you, they’ll give you a chance.” 

The farm isn’t too far out of town. Well-fed and watered, Dean takes it slow and still gets there in a little over half an hour. If he put his foot to the pedal it’d take him 20 minutes tops. Which means he can go get burgers and pie after work.

The virus isn’t deadly but those infected can be. When his best friend and former boyfriend, Crowley, gets infected and asks him for help to get revenge on the head of the company he can’t refuse. Now they’re racing against the clock to make their way to the top of the building and kill Richard Roman before Crowley is cured and won’t be able to legally get away with murder. Along the way they meet two twins willing to help them on their mission and watch their back. Now if only they can stop checking each other out long enough to survive their journey to the top of the tower.

Until Jimmy shows up. After helping to make a case against Castiel all those years ago, he’s now officially working for the FBI Cyber Crime Unit. And he’s here to investigate Castiel. But this time he might just believe him when Cas swears he’s being set up. Again.
