I am a chronically ill disabled person who is feeding tube and IV fluid reliant to stay alive due to gastroparesis. I have a growing list of medical issues that have culminated in the last year.

My out of pocket costs prior to hitting my deductible were immense, and my monthly OTC medical expenses are stacking up as I pay off medical bills and come off of a medical leave of absence.

The Death Toll of the Earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria may have reached 20,000 people, and that’s outside of all those who are injured and lost.

Islamic Relief:  teams are on the ground right now providing emergency food assistance, shelter, medical supplies to hospitals and clinics, as well as blankets and tents for those made homeless by the quake in Turkey and Syria

Molham: The team at Molham are currently on the ground helping displaced families in Turkey and Syria who have been affected by the earthquake   

Turkish Red Crescent: The team are distributing essential aid to those affected by the earthquake across Turkey.

The White Helmets: The team are on the ground in Northwest Syria searching for survivors and removing the dead from the rubble.

Turkey Mozaik Foundation: Attempting to provide immediate relief and medium to long term recovery to survivors of the earthquake. 

MSF: remaining in close contact with the local authorities in northwestern Syria and with the authorities in Turkey to extend their support where it’s needed. They’re providing essential life kits to displaced people in the region

How convienient that the day after my birthday, more drama seems to appear. So apparently, the neighbors which my mother has been at war with for the past 6 years threatened her and she reported it to the cops and housing accordingly. Case solved right? No a week later from that incident, she meets with housing and they are telling her that they have to move her to another apartment (mind you a 1 bedroom because a 2 bedroom is for families with children…i live in public housing as i am poor.) So they claim they did the paperwork but my mom refuses to move as she had lived here since 1973 while these neighbors were only here for 6 years. 

Long story short, if i have to move with her to a smaller apartment, its going to get worse for me as I wont have my stuff to work on my stickers which i create at home..i have a printer and die cut machine i use thats necessary for my foil stickers and planner stickers…i refuse to sleep on a sofa and not have my stuff because its not fair for me and I have back problems with osteoarthritis in my feet which are getting worse day by day as I have flare ups all day. 

I still wonder why i am alive, I feel like there’s no point to anything, I tried to find a job, no one wants to hire me and my mom says for me to find a job when its not that simple since i’ve TRIED for 2 years and still no luck. No one wishes to hire me.

So now i’m stuck between a rock and a hard place..

So if possible guys, please support me via patreon and kofi or just purchase stuff on my online store. Please pass my store around to people you know who would like space products as I am going to try to see if i can find funds to save money for the worst. I am super reluctant to do this, but…

I got laid off in July and my unemployment benefits run out in 3 weeks.  I won’t be able to pay my bills once that happens.

I’m an excellent editor and proofreader, and I’m looking for any kind of editing/proofreading work for people.  My specialty is college papers.  I won’t write them for you, but I can:

- Help you brainstorm a response to a writing prompt/assignment

- Help you develop/organize your ideas

- Do professional editing of a rough draft or finished work

I charge $10 a page for editing, and that includes spelling, grammar, etc.  Title pages are free.  I can do APA and MLA with ease; stuff like Chicago and other weird citation styles would be extra (sorry, historians).  Works Cited/References pages are $15.  Brainstorming and development prices can be negotiated.

I worked as a writing tutor for 8 years, and I’ve done private professional editing for everything from a kid’s book to a 200-page PhD thesis on civil engineering.

My mother is causing problems again. She likes to start arguements and fights and I didn’t have medication for 2 days. Now she’s threatening to kick me out. I’ve had it with her and I feel so trapped I may want to harm myself. She’s screaming and knowing I can’t be under stress, she continues to cause problems with me. She’s saying a lot of hurtful things to me and saying I don’t do anything even though I am working hard every day to make something of myself and pay bills. Right now I am very low on funds and she isn’t helping right now. I wish I could move already...

Hey, I’m Idir, your local bi trans black disabled amazigh and I’m opening commissions/donations bc I rlly need help and I dont know what else to do! I currently live in a North African country and bc of that I can’t access HRT or even get a binder, and it’s not ideal considering I have dysphoria that can get so bad I consider suicide. I’m currently working a 10 hour customer service job that’s really draining for me considering my untreated adhd and autism and depression and i still cant get my hours cut (and if i do it means i will barely be able to afford food and rent in my tiny ass flat that i share with 3 other ppl like the situation aint great already with 10 hours so imagine 5) plus its literally exploitative and toxic and they try (and sometimes manage) to force me to do overtime. I’ve managed at the last second to enroll in college (which is thankfully free) but I can’t attend classes bc of said shitty job.

I rlly want to be a freelance translator fulltime bc I’m this close to a breakdown bc of my irl job and I REALLY need to attend classes since I can’t go abroad without a degree, esp since I’m black and muslim and it makes it harder to get a visa. I’m also saving up for the immigration and transition costs and I rlly hope I can finish my bachelors abroad and not here bc I’m just a first year and I don’t have the ability to survive 3 more years in this shitty ass country and I cant save up much and even if I eat bread and butter everyday it will take me YEARS to save the money I need to go abroad so donations are also welcome. I also cant ask my family for help bc they’re abusive and I’ve barely managed to escape them just 4 months ago (doesnt help the mental health! i cant handle a 10 hour job when im struggling with the aftermath of 19 years of abuse!) and they’re violently homophobic like (tw homophobia/hate crime) straight up my mom willingly watches videos of gay men being murdered and laughs and says we should all get killed like if they know I’m trans and bi they’re gonna be a threat they’re def not gonna help with the costs or anything. I’m cut off from my extended family and while I’m sure they’re not as bloodthirsty they’re def not accepting of lgbt ppl either so I cant depend on anyone.

TLDR : I live in a country where I cant transition, I’m too disabled for the shitty job I have and I have no family to help me

Now that everyone knows my trauma and my crappy situation let’s get to commissions. I’m studying French Literature and I speak English (obviously) and Arabic so I’m open to translating anything in any of these three languages. Price depends on the number of words and complexity of the translation ofc but on average it’s like 30$ for 1k words. I’m still learning to draw but if you want a doodle and don’t mind it being not so professional I can make you one for whatever you’re willing to pay (i can send examples if anyone is interested). One thing I haven’t mentioned to you all is that I have an abusive mother that I live with because I have no income. However, because I don’t have a job she becomes very aggresive, says horrible things to me and calls me stupid and slow and that I can’t hear right. Then when I defend myself, she punishes me for standing up to myself…in the form not cooking any dinner tomorrow knowing very well I have no money on me. 

So basically I’m going to starve today. So I broke down crying and wondering if I should just end it because I am tired of bad things happening to me left and right each day is getting worse whenever I start to feel hopeful. I just don’t know what to do..

If anyone can help me buy something to eat tommrow, that will be great since I only have a few dollars in my bank account which isn’t enough to even buy one meal.
