me but i scream every time i click the wrong place and end up teleported to a virus - filled ad trying to read the comic where alison is outed,

here is some other redesigns
welcome back to another round of : rose can’t sleep, so here’s the songs she’d put in a dazzler tv show. mostly using her solo series from the 80s as well as her first appearance for scenes.
hot stuff - donna summer ( specifically the kygo remix ) : the first song we hear - playing as we watch alison get ready for a gig. close up shot of her performing it as a cover, bathed in light … followed by a wide shot of it just being for some dinky little wedding where she gets stiffed for payment afterward.
money - pink floyd : probably a montage of alison working a bunch of part time jobs, she goes to put in her headphones to walk from one to the next and it starts playing.
naked in manhattan - chappell roan : maybe one of her first singles. in general chappell’s music is gonna be a stand-in for alison’s a lot of the time. we also hear it filtered over a radio for alison to freak out over hearing.
heart of glass - miley cyrus : one of many songs used in a fight scene, we see alison hit play on her phone before the light show starts.
this hell - rina sawayama : the song alison is performing onstage as we watch scott and jean weave through a club looking for her. bonus if we see shots of them + on the opposite side of the club, agents of the hellfire club also there to do worse than just talk to alison.
dancing queen - abba : in a flashback, we see a teenaged alison cover this in a bar’s open night mic. the first night she manifests her powers, in fact, after a fight breaks out. bonus if the faintest little bit of it plays while baby ali is silently freaking out, unable to tell anyone it wasn’t just a stroke of luck that “the lighting rig exploded and blinded the guys”
in general, i think there’d be a lot of 70s and 80s music, or modern music with definite inspiration from those eras.

while alison’s sound is definitely pop, she has such an appreciation for all music. there’s no “ i like everything except … ” she listens to everything. pop, country, rap, irish folk, she even went through a tuvan throat singing phase while studying for college when she went. she thinks music is just the most beautiful thing humanity’s ever conceived, in all it’s forms, and sue her! she wants to contribute!
