Once again, I thank you sincerely, deeply, and dearly @woundedsoul12 and @redaresss. Wounded's great nod to Dr. F is a must see HERE. Red's boxing AU update HERE people!
And "technically" @zennihilation tagged me to talk shit. So read about a knife to Juan's throat by a hot woman HERE.
Also, please take a moment to appreciate my very valuable additions to Zenn's shit talking HERE. On the fly. Because I work well under pressure. Senka gets it from somewhere.
It being a heavy dose of:
I went hard on writing for a while, then stepped away from it. It’s been a few days, and I need to climb back onto the whole writing train. Hope the muses are cool with a hobo riding the rails.
I’ve got a few hours blocked off early AF Saturday morning to focus on the final chapter for DAY ONE of Rook Week.
Which is especially funny because I already opened a document and started Day Two like an absolutely unhinged gremlin. That one should be easy enough to finish once I get a solid block of uninterrupted time. It’s basically pure, unadulterated WTF-ism.
I hate editing. Deeply. Spiritually. For real, for real.
“You call… oh, this is too fucking perfect. Senka, huh? House de Riva? Yeah, I know her. Name’s Juan.”
Juan's about to have their cake, eat it, and get ice cream all in one fell swoop.
Facial scars? Got it covered. /laughs. Alas, I only have one... above my right eyebrow. I need more specific scarring.
If anyone has tips, I’m always open to advice. It’s me. I’ve never used this, nor do I wear makeup. I’m just going to wing it. That always works out, right?
My thigh “holster” arrived. Calling it a holster is generous as hell, honestly. So now I get to figure out how to attach my knife sheath to the muthaF’n thing.
At present, I have someone bringing me industrial Velcro, because apparently, cosplay is 10% looking cool and 90% engineering problems nobody warned you about.
Do I look like I have a fuckin' degree in engineering? Don't answer that. /grumbles
[This person works in an industry that sews heavy-duty tarps, awnings, and school safety equipment. We're chatting right now, and he just suggested using a snap press. Sir. Brilliant. I'm down, and you just volunteered to help. /grins wickedly.]
You saw the petticoat last time. Now you get the belt and dress. It's Navy Blue. /grins. No purchase necessary. It's been hanging in my closet, WITH the damned tags, for I don't know how long.
