anyway, i am henceforth cursed because i can no longer think of that song without thinking

why the hell it smells so nice to me

it's like oh? i want to walk to the shops? let me check the air quality. oh it's terrible whelp guess i'll stop breathing

and even if there's low pollen & pollution, and it isn't cold & dry, or too humid, it still has a reasonable chance of giving me an asthma attack??

then there's the frequency at which i get so little sleep because for some reason the very act of lying down exacerbates asthma (and exasperates me 🙄🙄). (also the way it activates from standing up too long as well? come on asthma, pick a cause, honestly)

i'll be in a lecture and it's like oh i couldn't focus because it's too dusty and my trachea did not like that

obviously respiratory illnesses cause it too and hey why are like all the common contagious illness respiratory??

apparently it's not normal to be such good buddies with hypoxia that you can just casually notice your brain is lacking oxygen

and nowadays it activates when i'm anxious?? that's just cheating at this point -> "hm, is this an asthma attack or a panic attack?" <- it's both now girlie

i'm allergic to my dog (very sad 😔😔) (i love him) (i can't wait to go back to uni and be away from him) (i will miss him)

also finally one thing that (as you can tell from this rant i have definitely now escaped from💀) is the idea that has somehow sprung up (in schools especially) of asthma not being that bad, and not treated with the care of other chronic illnesses (one time my primary school accidentally destroyed everyone's inhalers by leaving them out in the sun ON SPORTS DAY). And then when they say things like "come into school if you've just got something mild like a common cold" it is presumably implied that this doesn't apply to people with messed up immune systems or other sensitivities to the common cold, but as a child who has been effectively taught that "asthma isn't that bad", that just makes you feel bad. And don't get me started on how often, when schools make you run cross country, it's in the absolute worst conditions possible for running with asthma
