Finally, the agendum I've been waiting for months has arrived. We decided to celebrate our birthdays all at once, wasn't that cute??? We are busy people with busy work 😢 so we barely had time to meetup.

We prepared gifts for each other, and oh! I bought them flowers because they deserved it. Guuurl~ we ate delicious cakes, throw jokes, reminiscing our old memories when we were young (yeah we are basically a cool aunties in our 30s), play "the questions book" and all. And 5 hours was not enough! Time really flies so fast.

Ethereal Things to stay alive for:

Wandering book stores

The smell of rain

Fresh and clean sheets

Clean and organized house and rooms

Cold weather and windy days

Room with large and arched windows

Sun shines through the leaves

Museum dates

Sitting by the windows reading a book and the breeze caresses my skin.

The scent of new books

Finding old music i used to love

White floral or clean-scent perfumes

Mama's cooking

Flawless skin

The smell of fresh pastry

Soak in hot springs

Productive days

Prepare for the long trips

Morning or night mist

Dancing to my favorite songs

Stay in bed all day

Strolling around Jakarta with my old acquaintance. We visited the viral museum in town, but unfortunately we only had 1 hour to visit, and it was only the 7th floor, meanwhile they had four floors opened for visitor.

Harus keluar dari zona nyaman.

Padahal kita harus merasa sangat nyaman untuk selalu bertumbuh.

Misal, kita ingin bermain dengan kucing liar. Dari pada kita kejar kucing itu satu-satu dan melelahkan, lebih baik kita kasih makanan biar mereka yg datang ke kita.

Kita akan terbiasa dengan lingkungan yang tidak nyaman seiring berjalannya waktu.

Segala sesuatu yg tidak nyaman gak mungkin akan membuat kita terbiasa. Bayangkan ada sisa makanan yang impaksi di gigi, 2 jam mungkin hanya terasa nyeri tapi kalau berhari-hari bisa infeksi.

Yang kita perlu merasa terbiasa justru adalah hal-hal yang baik dan nyaman. Pikiran manusia diciptakan dengan konsep continuous improvement sehingga kita akan mengejar perkembangan dan akan stress jika tidak berkembang.

Apa hal yang biasa untuk kita belum tentu orang lain bisa

Maka setiap dari kita akan nyaman di hal yang berbeda.

My family and I visited my father's grave and on the way home, we encountered many flower vendors. since tomorrow is Eid al-Fitr and it's our family tradition to place tuberose or any other flowers in every room, we bought quite a lot to keep in the living room and our bedrooms.

I bought flowers for myself since somebody's son couldn't afford a single "flower without reason" for me.
