some of y’all are seriously incapable of understanding what playing as a team looks like. do i wish azzi got more touches? absolutely. i want the ball in her hands more too. but i also want dallas to win basketball games. we’ve got multiple players in double digits, the ball is moving, everyone is contributing, and azzi is still making a huge impact. she’s playing lockdown defense, making winning plays, and doing all the little things that help this team. not every contribution is measured by shot attempts. after the season the wings had last year, i’m celebrating every single win. and azzi is a huge part of why they’re winning. she absolutely deserves more touches offensively, but she’s still impacting the game in so many ways. both of those things can be true. i’m rooting for the wings first. i want this team to win, and i want azzi to succeed right along with them. that’s what playing as a team is all about.
