Cyclops by Phew, it's been a looooong week. Pulled tens at my day job while constructing my portfolio site, writing resume(s), and working on commissions at home. I was so tired last night that I experienced the fabled "writer's block" scenario of the author staring at a flashing cursor in an open Word doc. Except I was staring blankly at an image I already flattened, so all I had to do was paint by the numbers and polish it up. But I just sat there thinking: "What... ARE you? How did I get here? What happens when you 'get scared half to death' twice? Do you actually die? Why is the word 'quick' in 'quicksand' when it slowly sucks a victim down? OH GOD HELP MEEEE!!!" I was tapped out of creativity. I think all the technical writing I did this week left me marooned on an island in the left side of my brain's hemisphere. The only way I was going to be able to paddle back to the right side of my brain was either by sleeping a full, uninterrupted 8-10 hours -- Or by making some X-men fan art!
