     Probably the most level-headed cat in the entire clan, he acts as the voice of reason for many. Also the one responsible for keeping Swiftstorm from overthrowing Burningstar at this point. He loves his mate and his kids (despite how reckless they all can be). He follows the warrior code closely, believes in it with his whole being, and will live and die for his clan.

     He’s quieter now; keeps to himself more. He’ll still joke around with the apprentices and kits when they come calling. Fill their heads with outrageous stories of supposed “warrior duties”; but when it comes to the truth behind his own scars its suddenly Smalltail swooping in with his own story to tell (and if he lets out a sigh of relief behind their backs, nobody has to know).

who do you think you can trust?

     Paleeyes is blind, evidenced both by her wide and... different eyes, and well, by her name. She’s the daughter of a Marshclan nurse, Thornmouth, and a rogue, Timber. Actually the product of an illicit affair, Thornmouth would have been quite content to raise the resulting kits as a nurse. Once she realized Paleeyes, then named Icekit, was blind she handed the kit off to Timber to raise outside of the clans.       Paleeyes has never asked about her mother, never asked about possible siblings either. She knows she came from the clans, and has asked her father numerous times about their culture, however. She once asked why her father named her Paleeyes, like a warrior would be named. He responded that it was to remember where she came from. She wondered who was it supposed to remind. Her, that she was blind? Or her father, of the world he would never be apart of?

     Sandscorch is a fierce warrior who knows her potential, and won’t hesitate to take down someone in her way. She’s honorable and respects the code, but she also has a skill for finding blind spots and walking in the gray area. Especially considering that she later develops a mutual beneficial relationship with a rogue, Tempest. While she knows that she won’t become leader (as Burningstar’s nepotism is quite clear), that doesn’t stop her from trying to become the best warrior she can.       Since kithood she’s always been driven and ambitious, often scolding her brothers for their childish behavior. Despite the fact that she’s often irritated by some of Forestclan’s more well-known warriors, she still feels loyal to Forestclan and the clans as a whole.

     Hound is, putting it lightly, an absolute beast. She proudly holds the title of biggest cat in all of the clans. And while some cats use their fluffed up fur to make themselves seem bigger than they are, Hound doesn’t have to do that. She’s 100% muscle. She’s infamous, and quite hated, in Forestclan for starting fights along their borders. While they don’t know her name they do often refer to her as “that beast”, “that bear disguised as a cat”, and “oh my stars what the ever living fuck is that thing”.       The scars littering her pelt are a great indicator of one of her favorite past times: fighting. She isn’t aggressive by any means, and she doesn’t seek to kill her opponents. She simply loves the thrill of it. The unbridled adrenaline rush, and of course the sweet taste of victory. Despite her rugged and intimidating appearance, she’s quite sweet with the kits and LOVES giving them rides around camp on her back. She looks after the kits once they leave the nursery, as the Drowners don’t personally assign mentors. Just to make sure they don’t get themselves into a fight they’re outmatched in. She always said that if she didn’t love fighting so much she would have become a nurse. 

     He was very close to Tempest before she left. They did everything together, they grew up together. Cricket couldn’t possibly have imagined a future that didn’t heavily feature her. He was extremely hurt when she was exiled, even considering leaving the Drowners to go after her. He still isn’t quite sure what he’s going to do now.

     Thunder is kind and is one of the lesser scarred members of the Drowners, but he is definitely not naive. Thunder has lost a lot in his life, he’s grieved a lot as well. He grieved for his mate, Perch, and the other three kits in their litter who didn’t survive. He grieved for Riptide alongside Vulture, as she was as much of a sister to him as she was to Vulture. He grieved for Timber after he was exiled. And, most recently of all, he grieved as he watched the kit he helped to raise, be exiled by her aunt.       Thunder loves his son more than anything and devoted all his time to being with him when he could. It was often him and Hound that took Tempest and Cricket out to train among the rocks. Thunder also loves Vulture and respects her deeply, but he knows shes hurting. As deputy of the Drowners he struggles to find the perfect balance between helping the others survive and holding Vulture back from killing all of Forestclan.
