i do not understand band fandoms. i have never been interested in the personal lives of band members i just listen to the music. i couldnt tell you the names of the people in my fav bands because im minding my own business

Fun thing when you start getting a lot of international friends/partners is that you realize half the thing you thought was “your culture” is very universal, and half the thing you thought was universal turns out only people in a five mile radius ever heard of.

nothing wrong with being easy to please! give all the books you read five stars. watch that movie again after people tell you that it wasn’t that great. play that band’s new album on repeat, even though it’s not supposed to be as good as their old stuff. refuse to say anything critical about something you thought was cool. be bold in telling grumpy people “actually i liked it a lot!”
