When girls do the thing where they wear open button ups but tuck them in so that you can see just enough cleavage so that their whole titty isn't out, but you kinda wish it was.
Like this:
Good shit. Top tier shit. High quality shit.
i feel like “the economy is just fake numbers” is such a bizarre take from the generation that lived through the GFC in 2008, like….clearly there is an association between the economy and people’s quality of life, you experienced it firsthand!
an ~academic leftist take could be that, in fact, the numbers are fake, and they’re used to squeeze the working class on both sides: during the good times, that’s an excuse for decreased taxes on the rich and increased loopholes, and during the bad times, bailouts save the rich while austerity is used as a punishment for the poor, not because they were at fault necessarily (in fact, they are less at fault than the bankers), but capitalism thrives off of the Calvinist guilt in the proletariat, bringing about increased servility to avoid having such accidents happen to them in the future–“don’t want to be unable to feed your family yet again because you took part in a general strike, now, do you?”
In other words,
The economies good? The poor lose. Newly created wealth will become overwhelmingly concentrated in the rich.
The economies bad? The poor lose. They will receive the worst of the losses.
The conclusion: Capitalism privatizes gains and socializes losses. Who would have thought?

inktober day 12: whale
If you have a child and they are creeped out by a nephew or older brother touching them or looking at them a certain way, you need to have a serious talk with that person and keep them the hell away from your child. Don’t minimize it or tell your kid to hug them anyway, that kid is picking up danger signals they don’t even understand yet. But so many families will tell that kid they are being a brat.
thankyou
A quick note- this applies to female relatives as well. One of my aunts ignores my little brother’s requests not to hug or kiss him (he has aspergers and doesn’t like physical contact with people he is not very close with). I have repeatedly placed myself between the two of them and had to tell her to back off and stop trying to “desensitize” him. Whether or not there are “danger signals,” it is not okay for adults to invalidate a child or teen’s request for boundaries. We need to teach children now, when they are young, that they can say no to these things and that other people can too.
This. On top of it it makes a child less likely to trust a parent or adult with the information if they are touched inappropriately. Some purple wonder why kids don’t say anything and it’s bc they feel invalidated or that they can’t trust an adult closer to them to stop the behavior from happening.
When I was younger there was this family friend that would always tickle me, and for a while I didn’t mind, but then as I got older he kept at it and I wasn’t comfortable and he basically restrained me for it. My parents didn’t do anything to stop it. After that I never went near him again and now I hate being tickled. Anyone that tries will get hit. I can’t even see my kids me tickled, I lose it. Just because it’s a kid making a complaint doesn’t mean it’s not something serious. Luckily with that specific person it was just that, but after that when I was molested by a family member I never said a word about it because I knew the other person wouldn’t get in trouble.

when i say “i hate men” im not talking about every individual man in the world, im talking about men as a social class, but if youre the kind of man that gets offended when i say i hate men then i do, specifically, hate you on an individual level
