If they could do helnik page for page in the show, i hope they plan to do the same for kanej once the soc storyline starts. maybe they did helnik page for page bc they wanted to introduce us to their backstory & having kanej more familiar w eachother in S1 after they met. i hope we get some flashbacks to when they first met 😭😭

yes i despise LB and S&B and SOC and the rest of the damn grishaverse series YES i am watching the show because i can't fight the allure of nice acting and brilliant production

how....is inejs character...racist? some of yall have the WORST like-most tone deaf takes on s&b/soc. it actually astounds me? you say a lot of offensive loud things about it, but it’s never truly..valid for you to be so loud. valid criticism is always welcome! but some of you-just throw out big words like “homophobia” bc jesper hasn’t been seen w a girl yet or “racist” in regard to inej (the stunt double decision is understandable, but inej/amita herself? nope) as if it’s JUST a word. like can some of you do better before you just post?

the chemistry they have on screen definitely is more than just...staring lol. there’s words being shared between them, so many emotions without saying a word, the tension, desire etc. It’s all there, if it weren’t then despite them being my otp (show kanej included) i’d agree. but their scenes obviously made people feel something without saying much. if you don’t want to call it chemistry then call it what you want

you’re right my mistake. how could I forget the time kaz (freddy’s version) tells inej (amita’s version) the only sex trafficking victim he cares to help is her and the other time when he yells inches from her face in typical terrifying straight man fashion

oh no worries 🖤 but question? did kaz (book kaz) ever try to save any of the women in the menagerie in..the books? & does kaz (book kaz) not have a teensie bit of a temper in both soc books? does he not shout at her or snarl his words at her when he’s frustrated or upset in the books? he does. but agreed! very terrifying

Kaz giving Inej the gift of a warship, her parents, and himself without his armor is the most goddamn beautiful thing I’ve ever read. There is no other couple like them.

holding hands ungloved AND not for just a second-but until her parents arrived. one of the best scenes and character developments of YA. such a beautiful scene.

they understand it needing to be a slowburn but now they’ll have to make up for the “I need you” in S2. i don’t mind it only bc i get his feelings needing to be understood for her to stay around in the first place but..that was a big statement that if they plan on following the books after this prequel of S1 then they’ll have to do something about that moment
