people are missing the main point: a president of a foreign government – currently giving weapons to countries committing genocide, who is heavily opposed by french people for being oppressive – is using felix and skz to brainwash the fandom. kpop has been used by south korea for soft power since its birth, and even more since 2012 with park geunhye policies, based on her father (dictator park chunghee)'s han river miracle. that's not a news: many countries use culture as soft power, unfortunately (see: united kingdom, japan, united states). the point here is that you all are praising a literal right-wing president for using skz for political propaganda. i am not hating on lix, i'm not hating on skz. i personally don't think they had much choice in this because the south korean government is involved (and jyp himself has ties with the ministry of culture, since he was appointed leader of the commission on pop-culture exchange) and is using them as tools for political stuff. just like they used other kpop groups years ago (ie: bts were used as political tool when they were about to go to the military and government shamelessly squeezed them like a lemon for engagement). felix is also brand ambassador for samsung and naver – which ceos were present at the lunch, and macron is scheduled to meet them + hyundai ceo to strength economic ties. samsung and hyundai are zionist brands – hyundai to the point of being cited by united nations special rapporteur on the occupied palestinian territories francesca albanese in her report on brand enabling zionist regime – and naver has a collab with spotify, another platform that gives technology and money to the zionist regime as well as trump administration (source).

kpop is political. they get angry when it doesn't come as a benefit to the government (for example, during the elections), but when it comes to ties with US and europe, they turn a blind eye because even appeasing to fascists is ok at that point. when it comes to european 'democracies', you all turn a blind eye because it's what western propaganda taught you to do, taught you how to think: russia? bad. europe? ok. if stray kids were associated with putin, you all would have praised it? i don't think so. and this happens especially when it's white politicians doing such things and oppressing minorities who are not white, who are marginalized.

the politicians know how kpop groups bring young people towards them – all it takes is that kpop idols just touch even with a finger something or interact for one second with someone and thousands of people mindlessly praise it, buy it, endorse it. it's how brands work too.

do not fall into the propaganda. don't let them use you as a tool for their fascism.

For the sake of context: a quarter of Sibaj’s family resides within the borders of the Donetsk People’s Republic. She also lived for an extended period in the Donetsk Oblast prior to the outbreak of the Civil War and the Euromaidan revolution, and briefly returned there in 2019. Kakhvise has participated in three separate humanitarian aid missions to the Lugansk People’s Republic, in addition to working with Muslim internally displaced persons from Donbass. I myself am from the Donetsk People’s Republic. None of us are “Tankie Westerners” projecting ideological fantasies onto this conflict, nor are we Russian ethno-nationalists seeking to expand borders or justify violence against Ukrainians. In fact, none of us have Russian heritage at all.
