⢠to do energy cleaning in your home, put in a glass: water, coarse salt and charcoal. position it behind the entrance door.
⢠bury egg shells in a pot or in your home garden to ensure abundance and fertility in your home.
⢠do not put the ashes left over from the incense out, they can be reused in making the black salt.
⢠burn dry rosemary to attract protection, purification, psychic abilities and openness for healing.
⢠to attract positive energies to you, spread several mirrors around your home, just avoid those with sharp details on your edge. they also help to clear the mind.
⢠to ward off any bother that is bothering you, write the key words of the situation on a white candle. light the candle and ask the fire beings to burn this evil that you want to destroy.
⢠make a wreath with chamomile flower and hang it on the door to protect the environment throughout the year from physical and spiritual damage.
⢠use cinnamon to improve your individual skill with prophecy through divination, channeling and working with oracles.
⢠when making your own oils, use olive oil and dried herbs of your choice.
⢠press and store rosemary leaves in your books. this will increase your wisdom during your studies and your memory, making you learn more easily.
⢠burn some thyme on your altar to clean up your magic space. thyme when burned with incense strengthens psychic power.
Too much light! đż đż

A ring of gold and a milk-white dove   Are goodly gifts for thee, And a hempen rope for your own love   To hang upon a tree.
For you a House of Ivory, Â Â (Roses are white in the rose-bower)! A narrow bed for me to lie, Â Â (White, O white, is the hemlock flower)!
Myrtle and jessamine for you, Â Â (O the red rose is fair to see)! For me the cypress and the rue, Â Â (Finest of all is rosemary)!
For you three lovers of your hand, Â Â (Green grass where a man lies dead)! For me three paces on the sand, Â Â (Plant lilies at my head)!

Hello
Any idea what I can do if I wish to bind someone to their place, they're in a different place and I do not desire to see them. What can I do to keep them right where they are?
There are myriad of binding spells that you may use or customize it to your own intention.
You may use ribbons and a poppet, a very classic binding. I know there may be spells that uses sealing wax. Use knot magic. You may use the very powers of the Earth and its vines as well.
USING BINDWEEDS FOR BINDING
Take some bindweeds. There are many varieties depending on your location.
Create a poppet with likeness of the subject. Add a piece of object that represents the person (a lock of hair, the poppet may even be created from the cloth of the personâs clothing, etc.)
Burn your candles.
You prepare a black cloth, cut into a circle, wide enough to surround the poppet. You may also opt to inscribe binding symbols or sigils on your own devising on it.
From boot to crown, wrap the vines slowly around the poppet, as you speak:
"With these vines,
thee I bind;
I wrap thy feet, thy limbs, thy hands.
Bound and wrapped,
in this trap,
Now thou art bound from where thou stands."
Cover the poppet in black cloth and bury it. If possible, bury it near the place where the subject resides.
Notes: This spell uses sympathetic and herb magic. Using the vines to act as a binding tool. The cloth circle with binding symbols acts as a trap. Binding them all together would definitely symbolize the ensnaring of your subject. Effects of this spell may mean the subject not being able to leave or stay in his place or in his part of the area or perhaps bind him there. So you have to be specific on what you want. You may choose to unbind it by unearthing the poppet and releasing the vines. Burn the vines afterwards.Â
âLike vines uprooted from the ground, Thou art released and no longer bound.â
Thanks for @hemlock-oaths for the additional note on ensuring the one that youâre using is bindweed, as morning glory may effect the longevity of your spell. Iâm based in Asia and we do also have varieties of morning glories here.Â
Hood-Winking Oil:
For Employment in Acts of Malefic Magic
â
This recipe entails the steps necessary for the creation of an oil meant to direct and magnify acts of Hood-Winkingâa term used in the Wending Way to specifically denote things like Hexing and Cursing.
On the first night of the Waning Gibbous Moon, and in the planetary hour of Mars, combine together in a sealable vessel:
1 part Cubebs,
2 parts Black Mustard Seeds,
2 parts Stinging Nettle,
1 part Hemlock Flowers,
1 part Snakeskin,
3 parts Thorns of the Acacia, Honey Locust, and/or Sloe trees.
1 hair of a Black Cat or Black Dog (Itâs vital that the hair is obtained without bothering or harming the animal, as doing so will automatically forfeit the effectiveness of the oil and cause any Hood-Winking itâs used for to backfire on the caster.)
& 13 parts Castor Oil.
Seal the concoction and leave it to steep, tucked within some form of bramble patch, and recite over it:
âIn the name of the Serpentâ
Cardinal of the East,
Emissary of the Fire,
and Scarlet Warden of the Bowerâ
I ask you to empower and to ratify this Oil.
By the Burning Embers of your Scales,
So be it.â
On the the Zenith-Day of the Dark Moon cycle, reopen the vessel and strain the contents of the mixture, before bottling the oil and storing it for later use in a shady spot. Retain the materials from the oil, and take them to a crossroads, on a Tuesday Night, and bury them. Give thanks, aloud, to an entity closely associated with Liminality, Boundaries, and Wentz-Ways, give an offering of Libations, and leave the burial without looking back.
Thereafter, the oil can be utilized for the anointing and imbuing of candles and other tools meant for use in Hood-Winking rites.

Yram Liah.
The reversed Our Father is a common devotional for the traditional witch. For those of us that honor the Dame, I recommend the same treatment of the Hail Mary.

âWishing Spell Jarâ
Next month is January and I wanted to share something I been doing for a few years now. Instead of new year resolutions I write wishes that I would like to see manifest during the new year. â¨
This wish spell jar very easy to make! All you need is;
~4 white birthday candles
~ A piece of white string (forgot to add it in the photo!)
~A pen
~ A container
~ A piece of paper
~ Origami stars (They are made with a long thin piece of paper and folded to make a star. There are lots of tutorials online)Â
First, measure your paper so it can fit inside your container. Make sure there is enough space to write your wishes!
With your pen, write down 7 wishes you would like to see happen in the new year. Then choose origami paper that matches each wish. For example if you wish to be more brave than use a red paper or one with bears on it. Then make your origami stars thinking of your wish as you fold them. 7 origami stars for each wish! So you will end up with a total of 49 stars. (I covered my wishes, prefer to keep them to myself đ )
When you are done writing your wishes and making your stars, turn your paper into a scroll. And tie it with any white string.Â
It is time to place all the things in your container! First add a few stars (any order is fine) then put in your scroll. From there add the rest of your stars and close the container. Â
Now gather your 4 birthday candles and arrange them around your jar. If you donât have a holder for your candles just grab any flat surface (a plate, anything non-flammable) and with another candle; light it, pour a little wax on where you would like your candle to be, and stick your birthday candle in the wax. As the wax cools it will harden and keep your candle in place.
Light the candles and say this spell;Â Â Â
Seven Wishes
For this year.
Universe listen
And bring them near.
Let the candles burn completely. As you wait, imagine your wishes coming true. When the candles are done finish the spell with âSo mote it be.â
Place your jar somewhere safe and at the end of the year; thank the universe then dispose of the stars/scroll in whatever matter you like, cleanse your container (smoke cleanse, moonlight, sunlight, salt, etc.) and do the spell all over again for the new year.đÂ
If some of your wishes donât come true here are some reasons as to why that happened;
~Know that certain wishes can take longer to manifest! It might take a few years for it to happen. Â
~Something better is meant to come your way so your wish didnât come true.
~What you wish for isnât something you would want to happen and the wish didnât manifest in order to protect you.
So cute! Will totally be doing this with my roommate on New Years

God rest ye merry pagan folk, let nothing you dismay.
Remember that the sun returns, upon this solstice day!
The growing dark is ended now, and spring is on its way.
O, tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy!
O, tidings of comfort and joy!
The winter's worst still lies ahead, fierce tempest, snow and rain!
Beneath the blanket on the ground, the spark of life remains!
The sun's warm rays caress the seeds, to raise life's songs again!
O, tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy!
O, tidings of comfort and joy!
Within the blessed apple lies, the promise of the queen
For from this pentacle shall rise, the orchards fresh and green.
The earth shall blossom once again, the air be sweet and clean!
O, tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy!
O, tidings of comfort and joy!

Never knew I needed this in my life đ
a knot charm
This is a simple charm of my own invention, taken from the chord and knot magic used to store the energy of storms in forms of folk magic, as well as the idea of rhetoric magic being a powerful tool, and stories being stored in knots. Â Iâd like to add that for me, it is truly effective for 12 days- beyond that, I am wary.Â
Strength enough to carry the weakÂ
Rest enough to stay awake
Health enough to care for the sickÂ
Brave enough to be afraidÂ
Wise enough to be a foolÂ
Kind enough to carry cruelÂ
Old enough to be alive
Life enough to let it die
Bone to blood and blood to bone
To my hand by rope and stone
From flame to sea to earth to sky
Heart for heart and eye for eye
The simplest way to use this would be with a piece of string, spoken aloud, tying a knot after each respective line.Â
My personal method is to take 12 stone beads and a piece of cord (made of a plant if it is available) and to tie them into the knots as I speak, and wear the product as a bracelet or necklace until it is no longer needed or I feel it has weakened.Â
I imagine you could also incorporate herbs you associate with the qualities you are petitioning for, taglocks if you so wish, trinkets, working by moonlight, ritual, truly, anything. Magic is adaptable, and I cannot dictate what will work for you.Â
The resulting product could be used as decoration, stored in a sacred or safe place, worn as jewelry, given as a gift, used as another spell component- experiment with it.Â
Rest well.Â
-Vivian
Absolutely lovely, reminds me of the tradition of the Witchâs Ladder
