A strange solar storm caused electrical problems aboard the Hail Mary. A worried Grace finds Rocky amid the chaos. Rocky’s dazed and confused after waking up human. Completely overwhelmed by painful blinding lights, colors, smells. All strange things he’s never experienced before.

So many new things and so many things missing -- two limbs that aren't there, so many vocal chords gone, (imagine having to learn to ennunciate sounds you've heard a million times but never have been able to produce), sounds missing, feelings lost, it's cold and yet comfortable and you can hear and feel thumping that was never there before and your body is a massless goop that it never has been and everything is leaky and fuzzy and none of it makes any sense
