If you watch Tea Addict's Twitch streams (and if you don't, you should), you may have heard us mentioning a Fame mod in passing.

This is in the earliest of stages and is completely subject to my whims about what I feel like working on, but since I've posted WIP pictures in various places and because someone on Reddit asked, I'm sharing an update here, too.

Under the cut is a window into the chaos that is my WIP folder.

Quick shoutout to @heathensimmer for pointing me in the direction of Puhlinnos_Sims2's website. Greatly enjoying having the "Order Drink for Sim..." interaction back in my bars and restaurants.

I feel like this was available before EPs were released, but maybe I am misremembering? Anyway, please enjoy having the ability to order drinks for dates, outing members, or the Downtown Diva (if she won't pay attention to you otherwise).

Pets Only Bathtub

Description: Have you resorted to placing a bathtub in your Sim's backyard because his in house bathroom is too small? Are you driven nuts by the fact that the Sims seem to not care that said bathtub is outside and attempt to use it anyhow?

Put your mind to ease, this bathtub, cloned from the bathtub in the base game, is only usable by Pets.

This tub comes with no custom color of any kind, and instead pulls it's colors from the Maxis tub. As a result, it will also get all custom recolors of the Maxis tub as well.

Ten years ago someone was working on a similar mod, I found a thread on Modthesims with a linked youtube video that doesn't work anymore, but the mod was never released from what I know, so (suggested by @coolenasha) I tried to do it myself.

This object is cloned from an easel but will let your sims spray paint walls instead. There are 13 different graffiti paintings, taken from Artesim. I removed the option to sell the painting because it didn't make sense to me, you can only scrap the graffiti away. Anyway sims will gain creativity skill points from it. The animations are taken from the roaches spray so it looks like sims are spraying the ground, but this was the best I could do... easel animations weren't fitting for this object.

Another thing I couldn't get rid of was the painting background. The original easel makes the paintings look like they are being revealed step by step using a second canvas on top of the first one, which hide parts of the painting in different stages. Yep, that's how it works.

I couldn't remove this second layer, because then the full graffiti would be visible right away. So, I created a kind of white paint stain to cover the graffiti and slowly revealing the image little by little.

This is how it looks in game:

The main object, the spray can box, is buyable in Buy Mode, Hobby category. It has two tiles, the right one is where the sim will go to paint. Graffiti are three tiles wide. The same can from the box (a green one) will spawn on the sim hand while painting (not the roaches one because I didn't like it).

Something new I found in Sims 2 recently was that grouchy Sims can actually smash and break the alarm clock during the "Turn Off Alarm" interaction when an alarm is going off.

Sims 2 really does seem endless.

Anyways, I made a little traits mod where Sims will smash the alarm clock if they're in a bad mood OR if they have the Hot-Headed OR Grumpy trait. It also checks for Technophobe

The BHAV then checks for Body Skill. sims with high enough body skill will break the alarm! I edited it to allow Athletic Sims to also break the clock regardless of skill.
