I was recently going through my old posts and came across one from 2018-ish (or earlier, i don’t remember but i think it might have been 2016 bc I think it was pre-rebirth) where i described Tim as, paraphrasing, an especially egregious victim of the cardboard cutout-ization the Nu52 inflicted upon a multitude of characters. So. I think we just live like this now and have for awhile.

i'm fine with the batfamily having a no kill rule as a whole as long as it's taken with the same level of seriousness as a no dessert without veggies first rule or a swear jar

not for any moral reasons, i just think the dynamics' funnier that way
