A Documentation Process

Friday and the sky in Madrid is like Spring.

And what started as a blank InDesign page resulted into 52 pages, 60 days and multiple changes. Many changes. Unending. I remember my art teacher once said , "you are only finished with your artwork until you die." But that was in 9th grade.

He said, "but do you know the difference between communism and socialism?"

I remember when my Moleskine was like the inside of my brain, my inner thoughts, the window to everything and then there was Bach and his sounds that made understanding an experience. 

Nails inspired by other nails. Nails in London, because London is bold.

Because taste and fashion begin when we don't even know we can think.

Tuesdays composed of three spoons---three lunch friends---that were supposed to share a piece of fat and chocolate. And she said the other day, "Did you know the most used hashtag is #forevergordita ?"

Eating alone is an art that I've learned to master mostly because when I am consuming my food that is my only focal point, similar to the experience of a horse when their owners place a mask on them to guarantee zero distractions from what is in front of them. One night I sat in Le Pain Quotidian and ate.

Potent. It was potent, but we asked for a second slice, and then we smiled. 

Because one day when we were driving the exterior world looked like pumpkin cake. 

Starting with my food consumption. I will no longer be easily seduced and/or convinced by the chocolates, breads and beans. 

Because in Madrid people eat croquetas as if it was lettuce and consume Gin Tonics with such ease and tenderness—I admire their stomachs.
