“I hope the laugh is worth this friendship, because the trust here,” she pointed back and forth. “It’s gone.”

“Honestly,” Dani pretended to think it over. “It kind of was.”

“Since it’s so slow, maybe we should bring the fun back here,” he shrugged, leaning in, as if to kiss her, but quickly, bringing his hand up to spray her with the water from the soda gun.

She was in he middle of debating on whether to kiss him back or make him behave when the ice cold water hit her. “Bitch,” she half scolded, half laughed. “You’ve been dying to get me in a wet t-shirt contest so you made your own. Only fair you participate,” she moved quickly to a couple glasses of left over drinks and ice and threw them on him.

“What’s even sadder is they barely look buzzed and they’re already that desperate. Why are men so competitive?”

“Don’t get me wrong. I would probably be just as aggressive but I always win with grace and ease.”

“Well you know, they said family friendly but she still needs to nap. I left her with mom and dad for the day.”

“Oh. Well, see you later then.” Dani pretended to walk away before going back in place. “No I guess I will let you entertain me.”

“No? It should be appealing to you. When was the last time someone bought you a drink instead of you having to pay for it?”

“When you can just drink from the bottle whenever you want you don’t really care. Gotta do better than this, kid.”

“Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to see you but where is my lil bud?”

“It’s almost sad how much those guys needed that win,” she observed the games with laugh, sipping a beer she had taken from the speakeasy.

“If you want to take a break and go enjoy the fun, you don’t have to stay back here with me. Things are slower.”

Joe: Oh I'll bring you blood sweat and tears, you just might regret it.

Macy: I've thought about it. I help kids with auditions and stuff which I love. I'm just waiting for life to slow down just a tiny bit more before doing anything myself you know?

Mason: Idk if you knew this, but I got into med school, so it's hard for me to play dumb, because I am so smart. Option number one involves my tongue. That's what I want our wedding to be... tear inducing, touching beyond belief. Don't believe that. Yeah? I like the idea of me having everything too. But we can ease into it too, I can, you know, play around back there a little before we go for it. Get you used to the feeling some and if you hate it we don't have to go forward. I'll fight you.

Kay: Why? It's a surefire way to embarrass yourself.

Macy: Well I had my daughter when I as in high school and then everything just changed. You need money right away and kids are expensive, you can't really wait around for a pipe dream to come true

Kay: Well I sure as hell ain't going first. You're gonna have to get other people to sacrifice themselves to you.

Joe: I can do it, but it might not be pretty. I'm in it to win it baby!
